This place never disappoints. We had the pastrami on rye with mustard, french fries, and onion rings. The fresh coleslaw and pickles always tastes great as we are waiting for our meal.

A friend and I had lunch there today. Her pastrami was cold and dry. My noodle pudding was hard and dry; it seemed like leftovers from yesterday. These were not up to Ben’s standards.

If you want a good pastrami or corn beef sandwich and you are in mid town, this is the place. There are only a few real Kosher deli's left in New York City. This is one of them. The sandwiches are so big you only need to order one for a party of two. Don't forget to order a knish. I prefer the round ones. Love the new dill pickles.

Food tasted great, service from server was a bit lacking. Manager went around asking if everything was fine which is nice.

My wife and I came here for dinner. I ordered a Reuben that was pathetic... Certainly not over-sized as they mention in their menu, the sandwich was scrawny, maybe a 1/4 lb of pastrami, needed a magnifying glass to find the sauerkraut and the pastrami was dry. Thankfully it came with a knish - biggest wast of $20. My wife's meal wasn't much better - a dry turkey sandwich, again with not much meat. Next time I'll go to the diner!

I went to Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen because it was featured on DDD with Guy Fieri and the food seemed appealing.

HUGE MISTAKE! IT IS THE WORST RECOMMENDATION GUY FIERI COULD GIVE!

This place gives you the creeps when you go in. The FOOD IS HORRIBLE! From the pickles to soup, hot dogs, stuffed cabbage, and the service HORRIBLE!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME IN THIS PLACE! I was charged for a potato knish that was not served (thank GOD), it took about 15 mins for it to be resolved. The people at the register can’t do it which doesn’t make sense so I had to go back into the dining area and find someone that can help me to resolve the issue.

I get to the line to pay and all I can see is the food they serve, I should have stopped at the counter first before seating down. The display of food alone will discourage anyone from eating there!

Great food as always. Staff very friendly. Wish they had a Ben's closer to me. It's worth the trip.

13.00 a sandwich which I'd an amazing deal. Guess this is why they are the few Kosher Delis that remain open. Iam also thinking if throwing a party here for my nephew. Staff is amazing and the chef is the best as far as delicatessens is concerned and I've been to top delis and none can hold a candle to them. Their cornedbeef is to die for. Try their hotdogs with Ketchup Mustard Mayo and kraout and you will not regret it. My wife had the pastrami omelet and it was freakin amazing. I told her HUMWHY ARE YOU GETTING OMLETS IN A DELI GET A SANDWHICH! She proved me wrong with one tasty bite at a time.

The minute you walk in you are hit with the smell of familiar foods, the interior design gives it a timeless atmosphere, however the food is fresh and delicious, the service is super friendly and everything was perfect.

I would advise you to close this Place! It’s Dirty, filthy dirty with dust and crud on the couch and counter, tables and floors are disgusting
This is outright the WORST FOOD I HAD EVER PAID FOR! Tasted, or attempted to eat!
I love hospitals and hospital food said no one ever!
This place is worst then the worst hospital foods I had had…. And I really considered hospital food to be the worst, until you open my eyes to new low!
I’m embarrassed to say that this is Kosher! As a Jew that really understand food and quality I’m sorry for Mr. Ben, he must be rolling in his grave from shame and disappointment of his successors!
The service is horrendous, waiter forgot about 3 of the 7 items we ordered, gave me Diet Coke, after I had insisted that I want coffee, I hate Diet Coke from the fountain machine! He argued with me, and brought me Diet Coke!
The chicken soup with dry kreplach, soup tasted like bath water, with dill and butter! The most disgusting things I have ever tried! As a chef- I am sorry for the chef and cook!
Everything was flavorless and dry!
The waiter is not responsive, forgetful, and just there… walking around, when I had called him, and I did- he said I HAVE A PLATE IN MY HAND! As he was walking skate free! I won’t come back, and will advise everyone I know to not go to this black hole from the 80s!
I’m not upset at the service and quality, I’m embarrassed by this place- as a chef and restauranteur, I can’t believe that the public supports such fraudulent chef and ownership!
So if you like to improve ask for help, many chefs are amazing and would be able to help, take any workers from IHop or a Diner- and they will upgrade what you got! Is suck to SUCK!

Good deli sandwiches but they don’t come with that many toppings. Excellent skirt steak at this location (I’m not sure if they still have that) and potato latkes are to die for!
