Bensonhurst Park, Brooklyn NY

The park is nice after the construction but getting trashed again.the weeds are wild, you can see rats running back and forth hiding in the tall grass that wasn't cut since the renovation

I take my daughter here on a weekly basis since the park reopened after the construction of the park was done and she loves it!

I have been living in there for almost 3 months, I practice running and will run from home to there everyday. But at the beginning I only think it was a sports field only. But later I know that the park was divided by the Belt pathway and there is another large park area with big lawn and three children playgrounds at the opposite side.

My daughter was love to playing here because there is a water work playground. Children here are playing water Cannon ball, she just asking me every time to find the unused balloons with her. Yesterday she finally found five different color of unused balloons, she was so excited.

And the other two children playground one is suitable for under 6 years old and other playground is suitable for 9 years old or above, this one is much more complex some climbing structure was higher above the grounds for almost 2 m so if fall to the ground, one will get hurt definitely.

Watching children running crazy back and forth from one place to another place is so enjoyable. But I do recommend to keep and closely eye on your children especially he or she is the little kids. I would back to back to closely monitor my 2.5 years old daughter, because I found some risk element here, first, some big sizes children they are very strong built, like the grew up, they still play on this playground in their crazy way. Some running very fast. Second, underground area some crazy kid will ride their bike enter the playground zone, just yesterday I shouted for many times to warn the crazy cyclist, because he riding forward but the head is turning backwards without seeing my kid just in front of him, the accident will happen if I was not shouted to warn him.

Love this place specially after renovation.but they just renovated everything except rest rooms.

Hope they fix the rest rooms issue

We stood by a hotel near by to enjoy coney island saw the park which my daughter wanted to swing as she waited for the swing (keep in mind we are colored people and everyone in the playground wasnt) the parents of the kids held the swing so my daughter wouldn't get on and called all the other kids in the playground to the swings to play as they all skipped my daughter who was originally waiting her turn so to avoid problems we went to coney island instead

It good pl to go and enjoy walks ride your bike, all have some ice cream go shopping at kohl's parking is good, and just have peace of mind away from everyone's and everything.

Handball court needs more players beautiful clean great mix of peoples from different cultures fun water park nice groups of parents. Beautiful and pleasant to be at

Bought some street food on 86th and walked to the park to eat underneath a shady tree on a hot summer day. People all around were enjoying a beautiful day in Brooklyn.

Very nice since they re modeled the park. More seating spaces and the kids have a nice and clean area. The sprinklers are working and the kids seem to enjoy that.

Great Park and well maintained. There are two types of play areas one for Toddlers and other for kids and teens. Washrooms also available there in the center of the park.

A very relaxing place to chill at whenever you have time. You can sit on the grass, or at a table where there is a perfect amount of shade. There are some benches where many flies populate, however.

For a public park that in between roads and near a highway it's okay. There's a grassy area to have picnic, kids park, pavement for runners and walkers. There are also tables and chair and and area with benches to catch up with a friend or people watch. You'll find all sorts of people. Mostly families and friends. Very family and kid friendly area. Also safe in the day. Just the location throws me off since it's adjacent to a highway. Other than that it's a good park.

It's the best place to ride a bike. If you want to sit on a bench or grass, bring bugspray! The mosquitoes likes to throw parties after 6pm or so and you will be scratching all over so keep that in mind.

This is a really wonderful playground with lots of diverse features. There is a huge area for the smaller kids in addition to the fun things to do for those that are a little older.

The renovated playground is absolutely awesome. Plenty of things for little kids ages from 1 yo to 12 yo to do. Nice new benches and pleasant green lawn. Unfortunately, their restrooms are closed, not sure if they close early, even though we were there at around 4pm, or if they are closed, because of the pandemic. Love that the seafront is a walking distance with an absolutely gorgeous view of ocean and Verrazano Bridge. And there is usually a Carvel ice cream truck parked nearby
