My experience has been nothing but good with Dr. Berck. He is professional, quiet but caring. He has now treated several of my precancerous spots and they have healed well. I feel confident that he knows his field when he does his exams.
The only good thing about Dr. Berck it is easy to get an appointment. He does not present as a pleasant or empathetic doctor and his manner is distant and matter of fact. When there are multiple procedures to be done he says insurance will only allow 1 every 2 weeks. This is not true - he is paid more for the first and a little less for each subsequent procedure when there are multiple. But he would rather milk the insurance and get full fee and inconvenience me to come in multiple times. No wonder insurance costs so much with doctors like him. Stay away - nothing redeeming about Dr. Berck.
Horrible. The doctor looked at me for 2 minutes. $50 copay. Went in with cash and was told they didn’t take cash only check or card. Then I received a bill in the mail with a $5 billing fee. Ridiculous that they are charging an unemployed person with a disability a $5 billing fee. I tried calling to pay with a card before Christmas and again before new years because I got a notice and their office was closed. Ironic. Called today and now they don’t take card only cash or check and the woman I spoke to told me that they never took card that they’ve always accepting cash or check. They don’t know what they’re talking about there. She also told me that they did not have any type of review site. Of course. And then she hung up without saying goodbye. No type of apology. I would never go back or recommend this doctors office to anyone
