Besito Mexican Restaurant - Huntington NY

My family and I love this restaurant beyond words. The staff is super friendly and incredibly hard working. Last night we visited and had one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We were greeted with a smile by the manager Jose. It was very mild weather and requested to be seated outdoors even though all of the outdoor furniture had been put away for the winter. He made an exception for us and within minutes had a crew setting up a special table for us in front. It’s very rare that managers go out of their way to this extent. We were waited on by amazing waiters that brought us our food immediately. We enjoyed the pineapple margaritas (phenomenal) and I got my usual which was sweet potato tacos. My husband loves the steak from there as well. I also really appreciated that they bring the kids a plate of sliced bananas and avocado while they wait for their order. Such a special touch. So much love. Thank you SO much Jose and the rest of the staff that went above and beyond to make my family feel special. We can’t wait to see you again.

This is not your traditional Mexican Restaurant, but close enough. First, the Hostess and our waitress were superb. Very friendly and great service. Knowledgable about the menu. All staff wearing masks, and we were seated at least six feet from other diners. Warm, inviting interior with a spotless restroom. Food was fresh and bountiful. Guacamole was served in a large stone bowl, freshly made. The enchiladas were packed with meat and I had to take home a doggy bag I was so full. Definitely worth a visit.

It was ok. Food wasn't bad, just not worth $150 for a family of four and we each got tacos. No apps, wife and I had 1 drink. Very very very expensive

I come here a few times a year. The quality of the food is always top notch. The service is on point. Food is always extremely fresh and well prepared. Very happy with every aspect of this restaurant and look forward to coming here.

We went to Besito for our anniversary. José was our waiter, and his service was impeccable. He brought us champagne with strawberries & a delicious dessert to celebrate our anniversary.

We love the ambiance at Besito. The food is consistently delicious, and the specialty margaritas are always a must-try.

I had eaten at Besito in the summertime and enjoyed the food so much I decided to come back and enjoy a wonderful meal again with my sister. I called them at 3: 30 and asked them if I would need a reservation for 2 people at 6: 00. They said it would not be necessary to make a reservation, just come on in and we will have a table for you. When we got there at 6: 00 pm I noticed it was a bit crowded but I was not worried due to the hostesses reassuring me on the phone that we would be seated no problem. Mind you we were coming all the way from queens in traffic. Needless to say when we got there the hostess said we would seat you but you would only have the table for one hour and twenty minutes. I was so confused because they reassured me everything would be fine. I would advise anyone who wants to eat there to book the reservation in advance. Do not listen to the hostess and make the reservation so you too will not be upset when you show up from a hard days work looking for a good meal. Instead my sister and I went to THE SHED around the corner. They were more then happy to find us a table. The food and service was excellent.

Chips n salsa were the best part. I ordered the enchiladas mixtas and got 2 small enchiladas for 25$. The meat inside was flavorless. Rice and beans mediocre at best. Drinks were ok. I would say it's very overpriced for what you get.

Everything I had hoped and expected from this top restaurant. The pasta courses were to die for. Perfectly seasoned and portioned. Service was on point as well.

Very busy restaurant almost all the time really says something in a very busy town like Huntington. The margaritas were very good, guacamole, and taco skillet were also very good. The rib appetizer was the star of the meal.

This place is top-notch. From the tasty food, amazing drinks, and friendly staff you can’t do wrong here. I hope to visit again some day.

Love this place, the service is always amazing and the food is even better. We got the fresh guac, queso and split a skillet for the two of us which was more than enough x They also had a special on Sunday for 2 for 1 margaritas.

One store for the food the second star for the atmosphere this is the only place I've ever gone to that had flavorless chorizo

Went here for dinner Thursday night, very disappointed. The service from the start was terrible. The waiter was rude, condescending and arrogant. Rushed the entire time, food was mediocre. It’s not worth the money! Only give 1 star so this review can be seen.

Excellent food and drink. The ceviche special was amazing. They need to out it on the menu. Staff was very professional and courteous. Can't wait to go back.
