Best Bottles, New York NY

My favorite wine shop on the Upper West Side. It's small, but they select great wines, and the price points are good. A lot of great choices for under $20-25, which is probably what most people are looking for most of the time.

When going into any establishment, I expect to be met with a warm greeting and also the employees / establishment to be warm as well. Freezing your employees AND customers to death is not the way to attract business. I’m thankful for the wonderful staff that assisted me in my selection, however disappointed in the establishment for not providing reasonable working / consumer conditions.

I have been shopping at this neighborhood store for years. Such a nice selection and they used to be really friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t know what happened but in the last couple of months there has been a change in the staff. It has become an unpleasant experience: customer service is really disappointing, bad manners, no eye contact, no hello and no thank you. Bring back the old staff!

Fantastic wine selection! Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. A must visit for any wine lover in the area.
