Best Buy, Elmira NY

Went there while I was visiting an old childhood friend. We split a sandwich platter as we weren't real hungry, which was very good and just right for the two of us. Very nice atmosphere and prices were good.

Purchasing a new Samsung phone for my wife on Verizon was a great experience. No hard sell. My wife was assisted by the Best Buy associates and she was very happy with the transaction and her new phone.

Looking at home security systems. The gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgeable in a variety of systems and was able to help me pick out the right system for my use.

I haven't shopped here since the beginning of COVID, an employee gave me an attitude when I asked a question. I can't remember what is was about but, his response was "we probably have it in stock but, I don't have time to look. " Haven't been back since.

Lovely place with a lot of helpful staff and useful for any needs.just wish it was a tad less expensive, but it's understanding.

I could have had better help next time! The person that was working that tried to help working was very unmotivated and disrespectful! I would hope they would change their attitude before a manager catches wind of it!

Great store. Had an incident where my T. V was damaged and the store issued payment for it swiftly. Glad i still had a copy of my receipt. Store manager called and personally checked that it was taken care of. A1 service!

The employees are not helpful at all. If an employee does not know the answer to a question about product the store is selling they should be able to find out an answer. Also a customer should not have to wait for an employee to finish a 10 min conversation after asking for help.

Helped with what I was looking for great customer service and on time, they don't let you walk around lost lol they are there to do there job and that they do at best buy thanks guys.

I'm an elite plus and total tech member so I shop at bestbuy a lot. I'll never visit this one again. After standing in the same spot for about ten minutes I was asked if I needed help. I said I wanted to buy a drone and the worker walked away. No other person in the store spoke to me. I spent almost twenty minutes in the store. I just ordered 3 drones for my business from Walmart. Waste of time coming here.

Elmira location was only one available but I'm so grateful & thankful. The guy was extremely helpful. I just might keep going there because of there customer service, even though it's kinda far from me.

5 minutes to closing and no one rushed me or gave me the stink eye when I walked in. Super helpful and patient. I was in and out of there in just a couple of minutes.

Took them quite a while to have Pixel 4a cases in stock.

Update: also only had 1 case for Pixel 6 pro and some bad screen protector for it. They don't even have them online really. Unfortunately have to resort to Amazon

Delivery department in this store has far too many miscommunications. No-show for a scheduled delivery one day- ok, things come up. Was given a 2 hour window for the next scheduled delivery, again no-show. Waited on hold for over 40 minutes to untangle a mess on their end. Will not do business with Best Buy again.

This place used to be very busy but now a days very quiet
