Best Buy, Bay Shore NY

Extremely (bad) experience: I went into store to (PURCHASE ITEMS) a mini refrigerator/air conditioner/washing machine & dryer/blender & cell phone (BUT) when I went to customer service & asked for help NO ONE WOULD HELP. I asked for someone to help me with getting a air conditioner off a SHELF NO ONE ASSISTED - I asked can someone LIFT A AIR CONDITIONER to put into my cart NO ONE WOULD HELP ME - THAN I CALLED CORPORATE FOR HELP - I was on phone for at least a hour & change. If they did not speak to employees/brian mgr at said location I would have (ZERO HELP) my initial ethical standpoint is to let thy (SENIORS KNOW) (NOT) TO SHOP AT SAID LOCATION.

Visited Samsung counter right inside the door. The technician was knowledgeable in helping me upgrade my phone, transfer data, wipe the old phone clean, and put new phone the its case. Could not have asked for better service.

My Daughter Kristen N Waslufsky started her long career here in 2009, in this Best Buy of Bay Shore w the mngr Nelson (now working at Microsoft n Nick.v who now runs the whole show f Riverhead NY. The team here now is also the Best of the Best.

Helpful staff and clean. Only problem was some of their demo areas were broken and could not demo items. At the time of this review it was the gaming headsets area.

Not Happy with best buy
Third time in a year i come here and they dont have in stock what i need. Guess ill have to order on line.

It's a Best Buy, and it's local. What's not to like?

With a better game selection, this place would be a more frequent stop.

The worst. Sold us a open box dishwasher wrapped to hide the dents in the steel casing. The motor was leaking. Can't believe Best buy still exists with such a pathetic inspection process.

Excellent service from Chris who just helped me with getting a car stereo for my jeep. He knew what radio I was looking for and double checked with the installer on what parts were needed. He was very kind and worked efficiently. I was in and out in an hour! I got all my parts today and will have the radio mailed to me by Tuesday! Store was clean too. Thanks Chris!

Bought open box dishwasher. It was loaded on to the truck fully wrapped. When we unwrapped the dishwasher at home, we found that it was badly dented in the front, was already connected and used by someone and returned with all the hoses connected with water in them. We promptly returned it. Giving one star, because the store took it back without any hassles.

Ordered online for store pickup, appliance, package was tampered with and bottom was all taped up. After complaining, they gave me a 10% discount. Appliance is in good working order.

Made a appointment to install complete audio system they give it to me at 6: 30 in Bay Shore and my surprise when got there they told me was for steering wheel audio control only smh.

Kind of a long wait for help but once Joe/Joseph helped me, everything was great. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the Samsung tablet that I needed as well as a cool purple case He made the wait worthwhile and I'm glad he was there to help me! Thank you and I will definitely shop here again!

Very friendly staff, courteous and also helped me with my decision making on my purchases. Would definitely come back here!
