Best Friend's Dog Training, Farmingdale NY

When we got our German shepherd puppy, we were excited. It was the best dog ever. However as he was growing up, we realized that he was extremely reactive and protective to a point that other than us no one else could come near him. When I contacted Frank from Best Friend’s even he was concerned about taking our German shepherd for boarding. However with just a few lessons and group classes it is a completely different dog. I like to say that after the classes the dog’s hearing improved big time;) if you want to train your dog, go with Best Friend’s Dog Training.

Been with Best Friends for about 12 years now on my 5th dog. After my initial training for each I have gone to group classes practically since the day I started. There is no other training program like this on Long Island. Not only did I learn all about dog behavior and how to work with all my different puppy personalities over the years, but I've come to enjoy every minute of it. I can’t thank Frank and his team enough for training my current and prior pup over the past 11 years. I wouldn’t consider anyone else. Frank and his expert team are extremely gentle, knowledgeable and professional. After our private in home sessions we continue and love the weekly group classes. No other trainer (s) are there for you for the life of the dog like Best Friends. The training never ends. Anything you need help with they can help with.

Frank and his team are great! We adopted a little terrier mix and needed help. Frank’s team helped us teach our little dude manners. We continue to go to Best Friends training classes to help reinforce our skills.

Frank trained my boxers Laika and Dante 11 years ago with wonderful results. Laika has since passed but Dante is still the best behaved boy. He also took my 4 year old boxer Logan who has a seizure disorder and attitude who came back another well mannered gentleman. Hats off to Frank for the wonderful job he does! Highly recommend!
