Best Western Plus Galleria Inn & Suites, Cheektowaga NY

Heat sucked! Bedsheets had stains! Heard couple above us throwing chairs and yelling first night stay. Tv also didn’t turn on and also didn’t work!

We stayed in room 147, smelled like weed terrible. All The outside doors that said “locked 24 hours” were all unlocked! One hood rat cleaning lady seemed to have an issue and was mean mugging us every time we stepped outside our room, not friendly at all.it seemed like she had an issue because are white. Our room stayed at 78°f, heat wouldn’t shut off and the ac didn’t work. I never leave reviews but this was absolutely terrible. Never again! If you do, pack the pistol, not safe!

Great Unrealized Potential.
All the pieces are in place to make this a great hotel.yet upon a closer look.they have failed to connect the dots. Writing this from Rm. 140.
The shower is FANTASTIC.as is the HUGE flatscreen.but the king-sized MATTRESS is at least two-years past needed replacement; the bowling in the middle is visual.beyond the impact it will have on your back and sides if you are able to fall asleep in it.
THEN.there is that loveseat that i suspect opens up into a twin bed. I'm sorry BW.but it is torn, and the seat supports are broken, and it kinda looks like a piece of furniture that college students would have dragged out to the curb at the end of the school year. Not only is it uncomfortable to sit in.it is more than challenging to get out of since you sink so low into the broken seat.
We travel a bit.have stayed in tens of different chains & hotels.and I must say that breakfast at this hotel leaves much to be desired. There is a previously frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich available.but that is really it in terms of a traditional breakfast buffet. Pancakes, bagels, toast, fruit, 3 cold cereals, oatmeal, juices, and a good cup of Folger's coffee await hotel guests.yet they won't find breakfast proteins like ham.bacon or sasuage.
Finally.we stayed for two-nights and I asked the overnight clerk if he could get me a specific cream (which is available at breakfast) for a late-nite cup of coffee (which is available 24-hours). I was shocked that he refused.and know that it would not have been a heavy lift for him to honor my simple request. I'll be leaving this hotel with his ignorance most on my mind.

Not the best, not the worst. Rooms weren’t replenished with towels. Beds tightly made, but the sheets left something to be desired. No coffee the first morning, hot water and instant coffee offered the second morning.

Ok you get what you pay for place. Room had noisy fan but room was changed without issue. Bed was ok but probably wouldn't stay again

Not a bad place to stay for a quick trip. The price is right for what you get. Rooms were a little disappointing for a Best Western.

Some pros:

-Friendly staff
-Good location
-Continental breakfast
-Pool
-Pretty good gym

Some cons:
-Pool is outdoors
-Hot tub exists but is currently used as a storage room only
-In my five days here, I'm pretty sure I only saw two employees total. Expect functional service to reflect that.
-Hallways are freezing in winter
-Breakfast is extremely limited, coffee machine didn't work 40% of time there and was very watery when it did work

Booked a stay here a few years ago during Black Friday weekend. Ate in the dining room and there was a bread tag in my food. We ended up leaving and not staying the night. Disappointing.

Worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I booked through Hotwire and this was the hotel which was chosen I didn’t want to go through the hassle of going through Hotwire to get another hotel. Room 219 smelled of old linen and smoke the heating in the room didn’t work, toilet had got clogged the first time it was flushed the sink stopped up every-time we would use it. The hallways were freezing cold a very uncomfortable stay. THE HOTEL HELD A $200 incidental FEE which is very over-pricy for a 2 star hotel. Hotel employee said when we complained that we had a horrible stay she started then why did you stay here no apology or accommodation from her at all. If you are use to a dingy hotels well this is the one for you. Zero stars!

Where do I start? ! Ruth, the receptionist was the most amazing human in this hotel (the only reason I am putting 1 star and not zero). The other receptionist, tall woman, I believe native with dark long hair/braids = awful person. Very rude, disrespectful etc. We and 72 other people were stuck in this hotel because of the blizzard for 2-3 days with no food (only breakfast). People who haven't eaten in 2 days including myself, some with no money (truck drivers whose flight was cancelled). This rude woman kept calling people " Hey Yo, This one". Etc. I offered to help her putting the lobby together, she didn't accept. She decided who was going to eat and who not. A respectful man with no money that was staying there asked her for some food at 7 pm. She refused to give him an empty bowl and some cornflakes until I lost my mind and told her: Ruth, the other employee, gave us anything left, the other day to help in that emergency situation. She freaked out shouting at me and the man asking for food. I can't believe her behaviour in front of that vulnerable man and other families with kids who haven't eaten. I am not saying it is the hotel job to feed us.but you can find other ways to talk to people to explain things. I don't know why she js still employed. Please (owner) if you read this, try to get in touch with me. There is more to this nightmare pertaining your employee. Oh and the hotel was dirty and in terrible terrible conditions. I hope everyone left safe from there.

This place was great to me and my group, and gave us a better deal than we already had and were very nice

Prices were super high because Kevin Hart was playing in town but our room was clean and nice. Didn't have any complaints other than the prices doubling because it was an expected busy weekend.

Just want to say that I never leave reviews but I wish I could’ve been warned before I spent $180USD.

First of all, extremely strong cigarette smell in room and burn holes in the comforter.

The lock on the door was broken, and the door to outside (which was right in front of our room), didn’t lock so anyone from the street could walk in.

Also bed bugs, I have the photos of the bite marks to prove it. Wish I could post them.

Stayed in room 101…. If they offer to switch your rooms, say yes.

Definitely NOT worth it - don’t waste your time and money at this cheap hotel!

Here is my list:
The carpet and room were stinky and disgusting.
The sofa was too old and a layer of dirt.
The air ducts were oily and dusty.
The breakfast had expired milk for the cereal.

Service was wonderful all the staff were very helpful, room was clean and warm when we got to it (30 something degrees outside so warm room was nice). Stayed 4 days and Staff helped me get my boarding passes even. Food isn't particularly walking distance but there's a grocery store and some minor convenience shops in walking distance, staff also had good food recommendations.

Room was way overpriced for what you get. The door did not close all the way so make sure you pull it closed or it's not locked! I checked out the breakfast and grabbed a muffin. It was hard as rock. The coffee was ok. Our coffee machine in the room had an old coffee filter (with coffee) in it. Gross. I paid $260 CDN for one night. That's nuts. Staff was quite unhelpful. There was one staff in the AM trying to run the desk as well as get the breakfast set up. There was also a fellow sleeping on the couch in the foyer area. After he woke, he was going around asking people to use their phone. I have no idea if he was actually a guest or not, but he should have been removed from the hotel nonetheless.

This place is usually very pleasant but the last time I visited, the lady at the check in desk was just annoyingly rude and it seemed as if she just wanted me out of her way…. For what I do not know because there were no other guests in the lobby. I guess she just wanted to get back to being lazy ‍️

Very clean hotel with an extremely professional staff. Rooms are recently remodeled with flat screens and soft beds. Equal distance from downtown or the airport.
