We enjoyed staying at Bethel Pastures Farm Bed & Breakfast. All was clean and cozy. Rochelle was away but we met Mark and Marion. Mark was so hospitable and drove us to our concert at the Catbird Music Festival. We loved the vast view from the front porch of our cabin. Ozzy and Leo are the farm dogs who are charming and sweet beyond belief. We will definitely come again.

Stayed in there cottage. So clean and refreshing. Felt like life in farm. Owners are incredible. Watching sheep dogs cats and chicken roaming around gave me such excitelent. Felt like I was back in the 60s in the catskills. Great place

Since my boyfriend and I were going to see Chris Stapleton at Bethel Woods Center in Bethel, NY and coming in from CT, we decided to continue with the rural theme and stayed in a cabin at Bethel Pastures in Jeffersonville, NY which is about 6 miles from the concert.

It's like camping in the woods but without having to bring anything. Do bring the bug spray though and get ice for the cooler. You have the cabin with a comfortable bed, a compost toilet and an outdoor enclosed shower. The shower is about 20 feet away from the cabin. The toilet is directly behind the cabin, attached to the cabin. The kitchen is outdoors on the covered front porch and has rocking chairs. It has a sink with running well water, propane stove and pots, pans, dishes, silverware and a cooler.

We loved that there was a robin's nest on the front porch. She just flew away when you came up the stairs.

When you first arrive at the farm, you are greeted by the friendly dog hosts named Leo, a puppy English Springer, and Ozzie. The sheep get let out to graze and you can feed them or just enjoy them walking by. You will surely be greeted by Thelma as she loves humans.

You can go to the coop each morning and collect a few eggs to cook up.

There is a fire pit and chairs next to the cabin along with firewood.

Yeti batteries are provided for electricity. They will recharge it for you each day. There is also a battery operated lantern. I was concerned about not having a/c as it was hot and humid but it gets cooler at night and with the fan on, it was not a problem. The front porch has solar lights.

Mark and Rochelle are wonderful hosts. Mark checked in on us seeing if we were settled and if we needed anything or had questions about how to use anything.

Rochelle's parents are also on the property, Marion and Sol. Marion dropped us off and picked us up from the concert. This was such a big help as you don't have to worry about parking and the roads are difficult to navigate at night if you don't know them and it is very dark. There is no uber in this area.

When we arrived, Sol showed us how to use the propane for the stove, how to turn on the hot water for the shower, how to use the compost toilet. This family could not have been any nicer or friendlier.

Rochelle took pictures and videos of us when we were feeding the sheep.

If you want to go out to a restaurant that is right on a lake, we went to Table and Tap restaurant on Kauneonga Lake and the food was absolutely delicious. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the water view.

The Cacklin' Hen cafe in Youngsville is a great place for breakfast.

We also went to the Woodstock museum. I'd recommend doing that also.

This can be a romantic getaway for a couple or a fun family vacation if you have kids or grandkids or pets.

Was a very pleasant and fun trip and you leave having made new friends with humans, dogs, sheep and a bird.

I've stayed at Bethel Pastures a few times over the last 5 years, and each visit is spectacular. Mark and Rochelle couldn't be more kind or welcoming (when we pulled in, they met our car with cookies!) and my dog absolutely adores the country visit. If you're looking for a screen-free home away from home, you'll want to stay here! Plenty of farm animals to pet and feed, trails to hike, and hospitality to feel right at home. Can't wait to visit again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Fed the sheep. Picked up eggs in the chicken coop and cooked them on an open fire for breakfast. Rochelle and Mark made us very welcome. Cabins are cosy although basic. The one we stayed in had a long bed, battery power lights and cellphone charging, an outdoor shared shower and a shared toilet. Great location for Bethel Woods. If you don't mind not having many creature comforts and are comfortable with creatures you'll likely find this a really refreshing break.

It is such a nice place. They used to rent out rooms in the main house but now they have separate cottages with their own kitchens and bathrooms. They've even got an outdoor shower with heated water! It's a farm as well so you can see plenty of sheep, chickens, and ducks too. They will even shuttle you to and from Bethel Woods if you're going to a concert there.

Rochelle and mark are amazing hosts. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. We were able to make smores by the fire, we got to feed the sheep, we got fresh eggs from the henhouse, and as an extra added bonus we purchased some of the handmade felt soap to give as gifts. Everyone who’s received the soap has loved it! Highly recommend a stay.
