13Wait times are horrendous. Customer support is pretty much non existent. ATM is broken. I waited 1 hour in the drive through just to have the window close on me as soon as I pulled up. They seem to have no way of telling time in this place because even though it’s about to close they proceed to allow customers through just so they can be hit with closed windows. There should be a point in which they don’t allow customers through so it can prevent them from wasting their time and angering them.
Do not, I repeat do NOT bank with Bethpage. They will hold your own money from you and not even have a Valid reason why! Worst bank EVER! ; and their ATM’s don’t even work most of the time!
In my experience I wouldn't recommend this credit union to anyone if you need flexibility and convenience. They dropped the ball during this COVID pandemic instead of making sure they do everything in their power to help there customers while making sure their employees are safe. They shortened their hours of operations and only had one location with a drive thru. You can imagine how long the lines were at this location. The one thing I feared the most happened during the pandemic was losing my card, which is what happened. They gave no access to a temporary cards. Also they literally made me wait 11 days before I got a new card. They have this two step method for new cards now where mail you a new pin for the new card then mail the new card. I got the pin 4 days after I reported it stolen and waited another 6 days for the actual card. A secret for bethpage in the banking app for your company they literally have secured email you could've sent me the new pin through the secured banking email. I would have probably gotten the card in 4 days instead of a useless pin. During this pandemic do you know how detrimental it is to have no money for two weeks. No money for food, water or bills. When I called customer service they said just wait it out no solutions provided. Also if you want to overnight the card good luck because costs $44 while at the post office it costs maybe $25 to overnight something weird huh. They don't have many atm's anywhere or locations, so I wouldn't recommend.
Possibly the worst branch of this bank is the one on Elmont Round. ATM constantly not working, there is a line straight through the office every time I go (doesn't matter the time". The staff simply looks at you like you are bothering them by needing a service. Its the closest to me but I drive to others because I dont understand how you making someone wait endlessly for the simplest. What did they do before you moved in?
I like it. People are approachable with no glass in between you and the teller. Free coin counter, free cashier check. I think it is great. The branch can get busy, so time your visit wisely. They open until 7 on Friday. Great for working people.
I decided to "Switch" to Bethpage due to my husband's recommendation. The Customer Service team is excellent and banking services exceed the credit unions I no longer bank at.
Makes no sense to contact them because your get the wrong information. Just go to the branch and hope for the best.
I can't say enough good things about this staff, they are always super kind and helpful. I had an issue where my cell phone company overdrafted my account due to taking out the wrong amount, and the staff here reassured me that I would get my overdraft fees waived. They are always sweet and kind, and know me by name. Great service all around. Keep up the great work!
Rude and unprofessional especially that old Caribbean skunt lady.you need to have manors or get a better job
I never experienced this WORST service ever. Clearly can figure out corruption. I got approved through car dealer but when I choose not to get car from same dealer this bank people really gave me hard time. I can't explain about whole thing that what happened but dealing with this bank specially this branch was nightmare. WARNING WARNING. STAY AWAY.: (
You can't beat a FREE checking account vs all those ridiculous jumping through hoops you have to do with banks to not get a monthly fee.checks are FREE because I have direct deposit. Customer Service is 10000+. Doesn't even feel like banking, feels like you want to come it put your feet up have coffee and talk to the tellers lol.
This a really good branch very friendly, service is awesome and the staff makes you feel so comfortable you don't want to leave especially Valerie very good bank I highly recommend it.
Worst location. I went there about 2 days ago the lady at the counter was really rude and unhelpful. I asked her if she knew which of the branches were working since I had already drove to 3 different locations and she rudely stated "no we are down and I can't help you". Terrible customer service
