Big Lots, Carle Place NY

Good prices. Large array of things to buy from personal care items to mattresses. I mostly go for holiday decorations.

I love this location so much. Everytime I go everyone helps me. Thank you Aaron for ringing up all my clearance items and thank you for amazing manager for going above and beyond to help with the transaction.

It was ok the things that I could find were priced to high for me so I just put stuff down and went to Dollar tree down the block
Cheaper and the have improved the quality of their products

Prices are the same as a supermarket on items I was purchasing, if not more expensive. They did have lots of Halloween decorations if anyone is interested. Furniture prices seemed good if you're just starting out or need things for a guest room

Nice. Went to check out an office chair and to get a particular coffee. I was very pleased

This the closest Big Lots to Queens. I really wish they would open a location in the city. I always end up buying much more than the items I came in to get. The staff is friendly.

They list online in stock, but when you go to store they don't have it. Always the "i guess no one updated our stock" smh.

This is the experience with their online portion of the store.
1. You cannot cancel orders with them. Not through chat, not on the phone- they do not cancel.
2. I had to literally remove payment option with PayPal in order to restrict their ability to charge for the order I tried to cancel.
3. Their online agents are rude.
I am guessing this is what you get for trying to save money.

Great prices, nice selection of home decor.this is the first time I've seen such a small selection in store of cleaning solutions.

Sometimes the store shelves is messy which makes it difficult to find items. Great place to find bargain prices. However, you need to be careful and check the dates on food items as it is close to expiration. Coupon is not loaded on the rewards card so make sure to print your coupons because there is hardly any internet service in the store to pull it up on your phone. Cashier cannot look up coupons for you. They should really implement the ability to load coupons on the rewards card like many other stores do.

Every time I go there I find things that I need and the prices are very good. Worth a visit. Not what you expect at all. Great store! It sort of reminds me of Times Square Stores in the 70's.

Love the store but ever so often someone walks out the store with stolen goods and staff cant really do anything bout it. Dont feel safe.

Id give this place a 0. The Furniture staff is both clueless and just plain rude. The older gentleman is by far the most rude person. Asks people questions then cuts them off when they are answering. They claim that they dont have items in stock but then after practically begging them to check and pay attention to you the products miraculously appear. This place is a joke. You guys have to do better.

They need to stock up on a lot of things but i get the most of what i go in to get. Great prices especial on desk. The lines are sometimes long but they move quickly to get everyone out.

They didn't really have much stuff. I don't know if that was because of Caronavirus, or because they were shutting down, or maybe they just didn't re-stalk. But I didn't really find anything I was looking for. Though that doesn't mean they didn't have other stuff because they did. It's just that in the bedroom department, I didn't find what I was looking for.

I have mixed reviews about this store. One day Karen and a Tall gentlemen were extremely helpful after getting the run around and being my 3rd Big Lots Store. Thank you Karen she went above and beyond. The next day I go back to pick up the rest of the pieces and Dave was rude, he didn't want to help me told me the item I wanted was out of stock without even checking. When I asked to check what store had it, they did have it in stock. He refused to give me the coupon/sale had to go through a supervisor. I called later that day to ask about another item being in stock and he said no again w/o checking. When I called Hicksville, Chris was very helpful and had the same item in stock. For being there 3 years Dave you need a customer service refresher course or stick to the stock room.
