Big Oak Golf Course reviews
12 Nice course, friendly staff, and close to Geneva. Good place to get 9 holes in early before work.
Haven’t played golf in the states in a few years but I noticed a serious lack of people fixing their ball marks on the green.
Course was in good shape. Person in the pro shop was friendly and personable. Had a good time.
Grounds keepers should not be mowing when a group is trying to swing and then stop in the fair way so we can’t hit are balls just very impersonal today
Love the course the people are friendly got some challenging holes some easy holes makes an overall great course for pretty much anyone to golf
Owner/Operator is a total A-Hole who will harass and bully into rushing through your game, even when you are the only players on the course. Will never come back here.
I play here often, its price is reasonable. Its well maintained. The staff is friendly.it has unique challenges, with a good mix of gettable holes and some tight fareways.
Excellent service.as a new person I was welcomed and well taken care of.course is in great shape.greens are fun and the play was very timely. Highly recommend it.
Nice course played 9 today very friendly. Staff weather was amazing everyone had a great time love will go back often
We reserved tee time on the Big Oak website with an American Express card. When we arrived at the course, the course rep told us we owed him $58. When we said we paid online with American Express, the rep said they do not accept American Express and he didn't care. It would be helpful and more professional if the website told you they didn't accept certain cards and not accept it in the first place. The person at the course should care about their patrons and not cop an attitude. The course is pretty mediocre and their staff is worse.
We just finished playing this course. It was a beautiful day, however, we were not told when we paid that on the front 9,7 greens were unplayable due to them being aerated to the point that they were completely covered with dirt from the aeration process. We felt we should have received at least a discount since a normal game could not be played. The back 9 greens were aerated, but were plugged to the point where at least you could putt. This is really the first time we have been disappointed in choosing this golf course.
Front was not very nice. The back was nice and the lat out always better. The back gave this course my 4 stars
I've been playing this course for over 25 years. The greens fees are cheap and the staff is friendly.
The tee boxes and greens are always in great shape. The fairways are always well manicured as long as you don't hit too far out.
I am hoping to get a membership when I can golf enough to make it worthwhile.
