Birch Coffee reviews
7 A contemporary coffee shop with a nod to 90's coffee shop culture. Described as trendy. Enjoyed my coffee while reading on a comfortable leather sofa that is tucked into a corner. It was nice.
Espresso was light bodied with a clean finish that produced a good, light Americano. I did not have a pastry on this visit; would recommend something fruity (citrus or berry) or floral in profile to pair.
I did change my rating from a 5 to a 3. This is a good coffee shop; I am just a bit more critical now.
Good variety of coffee. Loved the fact that even their espresso coffee roasts are well balanced and smooth - aka lighter roasted with great notes. Easily recommended.
Delicious cappuccino and friendly service. Good seating but not much of a view. Recommended!
The variety of dairy substitute here is amazing. Not only they have niche stuff like hemp milk, they also make oat milk in the house. Matcha latte is rich and nicely blended. Pastries like croissant are from nice place like Balthazar. Everything is of good quality.
You can get discount if you’re a pace university student. The only thing that’s a bit of a let down is that the line gets really long sometimes so I had to go somewhere else. But all in all great.
Almond croissant was PERFECT - so delicious. Baristas here were friendly and helpful, coffee came out quickly along with pastries and the food+drinks were exceptional.
Their coffee is so smooth. No bitterness at all. Their Vanilla Latte is fantastic. It doesn't need added sugar. The staff is always super nice. Highly recommend.
Nice coffee spot near Brooklyn Bridge. The staff was welcoming and cordial. They’ve got a cool setup inside, ideal to just work or catch up with friends. They roast their own beans, they’re available for purchase in the shop. Lots of variety with blends and single origin, the coffee was fresh roasted a few days ago. I had a drip coffee, it was very good. Stop by if you’re near by, won’t regret it.
