Virginie runs a delightful restaurant! The food is solid French cuisine and the atmosphere is lovely. Delicious escargot, fish, salad, omelettes etc. -never had a miss here!

Excellent neighborhood restaurant serving classic French fare in a warm, inviting atmosphere where the food is consistently delicious. Great place for intimate dinners and small get-togethers, especially on the beautiful backyard patio.

This restaurant was a mixed bag. I thought the food was very good. However, in my opinion, the service was poor for a restaurant in this price point. Part of the problem was rooted in how crowded it was this Saturday night. The crowd make the check in process chaotic. Getting a drink at the bar was slow. Then the service at the table was poor. At our table, a guest had to ask for water 3 times and it took about 25 minutes to get that water. Once we sat down, getting drinks from the bar was a lengthy process also. I get that it was very busy, but they seemed to have plenty of wait staff. The service improved substantially towards the very end of our meal when many guests had left and the restaurant was half empty. I imagine the service might be better when the restaurant isn't so busy. Since the weather was awful, nobody was eating outside.
However, the food was excellent.

The server i had she was not a good server, she saw me and my guest kept walking back and forth didn't ask us about our food, or did we need anything.

This is an excellent French neighborhood restaurant located in Turtle Bay. There is a great selection of food and wine. I had the French onion soup and frog's legs which were delicious. Service was personal and efficient. There is an outdoor dining area that is great in the summer. The bar area also offers good seating for meals. There is a wonderful atmosphere here that I enjoyed.

Great experience, great food, and atmosphere. At a certain point, my girlfriend and I had no clue who was our server for a while. We did wish our food came a bit quicker as well; 3 tables that came after us we all served faster. Despite that, I'd still recommend eating here

Absolutely love this place! The ambience is great, and the food and drinks are phenomenal!

The place itself was ok food was good but the French lady that was my waitress was very rude, she does not have a sense of customer service.

Love this place. Tuna tartare is great and so is the hanger steak! Little piece of France in NY!

Wonderful venue! I had my baby shower at Bistro Vendome on December 4th, and that was a beautiful experience.
All my guests loved the food from the appetizers to the desserts everything was delicious!
The Staff is very professional and super nice.
Thank you Virginie for planning with me this event, everything was like I wanted, even more that I could imagine.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a regular Lunch/Dinner or an important event you wouldn’t be disappointed!

While visiting family in New York, we took the opportunity to visit Bistro Vendome for lunch. The food was excellent and delicious!

What a amazing venue. Beautiful place for our NYC small Wedding. The every aspect of this the Intimate, chic, French place is simply beautiful. Food was incredible, service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the place. Virginie made sure that our big day will be perfect as we have planned. From the first email contact the service provided was excellent. And Her Husband Pascal the chef made us made a delicious 5 course meal. If I ever need to plan a sophisticated event, I'm definitely going to book this space.thank you both & your team to make our wedding magical Jessica & Lukasz

After 45 minutes the food never arrived. I did not see anyone else being served except for pre made hors d'oeuvres. We put our coats on and went to dinner (elsewhere).

Beautiful little restaurant. Excellent food and great service! Loved the whole experience.

Considering we are in the USA, I would say not too bad but this is not what I would call a French Bistro.
