Customer service is poor. Staff needs to be trained on how to interact with customers. Self checkout needs a complete overhaul. The attendees that are supposed to be assisting customers behave as if it’s not customer that keep the doors to your establishment open

The self checkout line are useless. The machines are constantly needing assistance for the clerks. Every time you scan one item, the freaking light comes on again for assistance. I spent like 45 minutes in the checkout line because the same thing was happening to every single customer. Just get cashiers back if your machines are not working properly. The poor clerk was running from line to line fixing machine errors. Then they have they have the nerve to keep you another 10-15 minutes checking receipts on your way out. Smh!

Do not purchase any appliances from this store. My elderly mother purchased a refrigerator that was under warranty and she has been given the runaround by the store manager Marco. She was promised a store credit for the groceries that spoiled and he never gave it to her. She filed a dispute with Mastercard who refunded the whole amount to BJs and they only sent her half of what they received. When she reaches out to the store manager, the phone number is unreachable. This has been going on since March of 2023 and no one has reached out to her so that she can be made whole.

First off The womens bathroom is disgusting! But I was having a really bad day on friday the 19th and this lovely kind cashier Named Tamara M was so helpful and sweet. She was super friendly and enthusiastic. She welomed me asked how my day was and made me laugh throughout the whole checkout.she really made my day. SHE HONESTLY DESERVES A RAISE OR PROMOTION. The 5 stars are for her not Bjs yall need to clean that bathroom and organize yall stock. Covid is over get it together!

They only have processed foods, the place is a constant mess, the carts are always gone and can’t be found. This has to be the worst super grocery store I’ve been in. Don’t even bother and go to any other grocery store.

No one ever picks up the phone. Tried to order a cake on their website. It says if you want an extra decoration to call your club. They should just have them for you to choose from on the website like the trim and writing color, but they don't. I called Pelham Manor, which is the closest to me and no one picks up. Why offer a service you cannot provide.

DO NOT BUY THEIR MEMBERSHIP!
I've been to many Costco's, Sam's Club's, Walmarts, never have I had such a bad experience. I purchased their membership because it was something close to work, and once I got the membership, their customer service enrollment center sucked and ended up getting the membership online. I started shopping in the same store, so many things were in disarray, started looking for an item that their app said was in that particular store. Couldn't find a representative to help, when I bumped into a representative they just kept pointing towards random directions. I walked the whole store three times, finally, I got irritated and he went up to a representative and told them what was going on, they asked their manager about the item and took me to the aisle their manager set. The item would be in, and the item was not even there. Eventually wasted 2 hours regretting that I got the membership.

Worst experience ever. Waste of time. I placed a sane day delivery order and never received it. I got a message saying the order was delivered, but I never got it. I had to eventually ask for a refund. Don't waste your time doing the same.

STAY AWAY! Go to #Costco or #Sam'sClub I recently moved from Queens, NY, to Westchester County, NY. After making two online pick-up orders and two in-store purchases at the Phelem location, my visit has been the worst experience I have ever had at a BJ's location. I should have known I was in a different type of store than I am used to when I saw armed security patrolling the store. In addition, you can not make an online order pick-up because the spots reserved for order pick-ups are filled with cars of customers who are shopping in the store. Both times my order needed to be corrected, and I found myself driving back to retrieve a missing item. If you have kids, avoid this place at all costs because the customers and the employees are fouled mouth and disrespectful. Finally, I purchased a 65-inch tv a week ago and discovered today that the TV price had decreased. Logically, I went to customer service and asked for a price adjustment. The customer service rep needed to find out if the price adjustment was possible and called the manager. The manager told me my only options were to return the TV to the store so they could return it and for me to purchase the same/new tv at the discounted price. Who in corporate decided on this policy? I'm done and will not be renewing my membership.

Yo for real who ever that customer service employee is that in the front checkout.she has a serious attitude problem. I understand it’s busy and she working, but she can come off rude.should be able to communicate better with customers. When directing people in the line. So for that this store location is awared a 1 star.

This is one of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever had the misfortune of patronizing. Two times I placed an order online for curbside pick up and waited outside for 30 minutes each time only to have my order fraudulently marked as “picked up” but was not delivered to me.
The first time they claimed that I was not parked in the curbside pick up area, which I was, yet they marked my order as “picked up” and I had to go inside to pick up my items after waiting, yet again, on a long pick up line. The second time I placed an order, I go to park in the pick up area but of course all the spots are taken by lazy customers who park in the spots and go inside to shop, yet I still double parked right in front of the spots to wait for an employee to bring out my order that never came. Before I arrived I received an email saying ALL items in my order were ready for pick up. I waited several hours for the “ready to pickup” email and after waiting 30 minutes in their Hunger Games-style parking lot they marked it as “picked up [by customer]” which of course was not even brought out to me.
Upon entering the store and waiting in the order pick up area, I was told an item in my order was “out of stock”. That’s hilarious, because again, the “order ready for pickup” email indicated that ALL items were ready for pickup.
They never notified me that any part of my order was out of stock, and they went as far to mark that my entire order was picked up. If anything was out of stock, then those items, or the whole order, should have been cancelled or at least communicated to me. Neither was done. What this indicates to me is that employees are keeping these items for them selves, particularly when they see that said items are on sale and/or have coupons associated with them.
This is a dishonest and fraudulent practice to indicate that an order was successfully delivered to the customer. Of course no one ever answers the customer service line because, by the looks of it, they get quite an influx of negative feedback from customers who are tired of dealing with this ghetto mess of a store. Save your money, your time, and your sanity and shop elsewhere people! I would have happily saved HOURS of waiting for my order by placing it at Costco or Sams Club.
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
