I've been having problems with the door staff when leaving. 1st I had words with one who wanted to to tell him how many items I had in my cart. Not my job I said, I count my money. Today as I'm leaving the door staff counts each item in the cart which was fine if would have done that for the non black customers in front of me and behind me. I wonder isthis the store practice or the staff at the door personal practice?

Go to the Danbury location if you can. The Yorktown Heights store was poorly stocked and smaller than other locations. Felt like the beginning of the pandemic when water and other key items were scarce. Also no crosswalk outside for pedestrians to cross over from the parking lot.

Had most of the items I was looking for. The cashier lines are long. It was 3/4 of the way to the back of the store. A was happy I was shopping with someone else. We switched who waited at cart while the other shopped.

I've been trying to reach someone at this BJs for the last fifteen minutes. The staff finds it entertaining to pick up the phone and then just repeatedly hang up? I'll go elsewhere.

Place is chill, manager will lead the opps to anyone youre lookin for in there.lights in the parking lot got me thinking michael meyers is gonna spawn in at any second.other than that pretty good beef and leaf blower selection, would recommend.

The gas doesn’t open at posted time. It clearly says it opens at 6: 30AM and there’s always a line of traffic. I will not be renewing my membership. Get someone who shows up on time for work.

From the customer service desk to the associates on the floor, this place is god awful. Extremely rude staff that blatantly hates their job. Thank you for making this visit my last to BJs

This is the first members-only grocery store I've regularly shopped at, so my frame of reference isn't amazing here. BJ's is good for certain things, and not others. As far as a place to get pasta, olive oil, tissues, paper towels, and diapers, four stars seems appropriate.

*edit* I'm bumping these guys down to three stars because the labels on their end caps have nothing to do with what is actually in the aisle. Try finding tissues in this place. They're in the pet care aisle. Paper towels? They're in the daiper aisle. Feminine hygiene products? Vitamin aisle. There ARE aisles that are labeled for the aforementioned things, but they don't have them. The gas pumps are also super low-flow and take FOREVER.

Staff is friendly. Usually you find everything in stock. I ordered sandwiches from the deli before and they were ok. Cakes are made pretty good and cupcakes too
They offer has a discounted price too

Like any other day, I thought I would be heading to BJ's to get what I need. Beginning with my bottle returns, the machines are sometimes full or broken. Where in that case I could tell a worker to contact someone.

However since I had few bottles that could've easily been counted I made it easier for myself and for the worker who I would meet at customer service to do my bottle returns and get cash back which wouldn't be the first time I've done this before.

Today was a different compared other days at BJ's.

When I went to customer service, there was a female worker with side pony tail who told me she would call someone to empty the bottle machines. I respectfully told her that I had already counted the bottles, letting her know I've done this before and had gotten cash back.

After the back and forth, she finally would agree to give me cash back. As I spoke my language while not directly at her. She immediately became disrespectful as she said "I can't do this, she is speaking another language, " as she slammed my BJ's member card on the desk and went into a office to speak with someone.

As a PERSON of COLOR coming from an immigrant family, this is the most disrespectful attitude I have ever received and proves that this worker does not represent BJ's motto nor does she "generate a positive impact" at all. By her refusing my needs as a customer, leaving, and openly indicating my language is not something she wants to hear- reveals the racism I experience at BJ's.

MY MESSAGE to BJ's is to not have workers be disrespectful for those like me who speak another language in order to generate a positive impact.

Hands down worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I place a same day online order around 12 get a text saying it'll be ready by 6 only to get there at 6 and have the young lady at online pick up that she's by herself and that they're backed up.and then proceeds to give me an attitude when I ask when the order will be done? She tells me I have to wait for the text saying it's ready.but that they're closing today at 9 so it should be done by then. I was cool about it.until I come back at 8: 45 and they're still telling me my order isn't ready and it should be ready tomorrow morning.half the items I ordered were for tomorrow morning.had I known you guys don't have your system together and are incompetent I would've just bought the items myself or done the order at a different store. I'm still not understanding what Yorktown was thinking by not allowing a Sam's club to be built. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Fix the lights in the parking lot, it's like a horror movie out here.

Generally well stocked and food quality is sufficient despite the bulk pricing. Staff are amenable and lines aren't typically too long, except for the gas pumps on some occasions. Plenty of parking near the building but as mentioned, the flashing lights on the tall posts are really unfortunate, and they've been like this for quite a while now. Feels, like, foreboding or something.

Otr drivers. Parking lot is tight, Receiving hours start at 7am regardless if you have a 530app. Receiving associate is terrible and rude… load from P&G

This store does not care about it's customers waiting on linne as it only has 2 check out cashiers and 4 self check out lanes which only allow 10 items. Sometimes the line extends all the way to the back of the store. Please hire some more people.
