Everything is delicious, authentic, and fairly priced. The Turkish eggs at brunch are extraordinary, and so are some of the unusual dinner dishes. All the classics like falafel and hummus hit the mark. One of my favorite neighborhood spots.

Black Iris has always been a top choice establishment since ever since. The move from their former location on Dekalb to their current location (one block over to Lafayette and just a couple blocks down) hasn’t changed any of what made them great. Still the kitchen, solidly consistent, and non-compromising on excellence.
Great place. Love the ambiance in the new spot and the full bar. The entire staff…welcoming & warm and treats you like family. The amazing bartender, “Abby“ I believe is his name, truly stellar… AMAZING! Love this place.

Presentation and the space is decent but definitely not the food itself. Considering the location and quality of Mediterranean food in NYC, they need to level up a bit with the overall quality of their food.

This place is such a gem! Such a great environment to eat and feel special at the same time. The waiters were so informative and helpful. The food was amazing. Everything was tasty. I can't wait to go back and try more
