Blick Art Materials, Carle Place NY

Coming here is always a great experience. There aren't many brick and mortar art stores like there were 10-20 years ago. Blick carries all of my personal supply needs as an artist. The stores are always clean and organized as well. The customer service is always nice as well across all locations I've frequented.

Not an art person and this place made me want to buy brushes and pencils. Do not come here with art people you are financially responsible for. Well staffed and organized, it was pleasant shopping experience.

Being from the south its only a catalog so getting to go to a brick and morter, is like sending a kid to a candy store with adult money. Great store it has everything you need and more

The people there were very friendly and they have supplies for all types of artists. They also have a student discount which is nice.

Had a very weird experience here. Went in for the first time in 10y about an hour before closing. I went in for spray paint which is located inconveniently behind their check out counter. As I tried to stay out of the way while I decided on colors, 3 employees came up to me at the same time to see what I needed help with. They called a different worker up to the counter to help me. I felt extremely awkward and rushed. She suggested colors to me and I felt like I wasn't given time to decide. She kept asking me over and over if I decided yet and didn't give me a chance to look. I wanted to look around the store but felt completely pressured when they forced me over to the check out counter and I hadn't been in the store for more then 5m. The employees were way to high energy, I have bad anxiety so going in there was already difficult for me. I thought it was just me but my boyfriend was completely weirded out by their vibe, definitely would not recommend.

Everytime I go to this store im greeted warmly and enthusiastically. The staff is super friendly, very helpful and informative and answer any and all questions I may have

A must for artists looking for a wide range of quality art materials. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and willing to guide you through your options. There are some great bulk savings prices, especially when you buy 5+ brushes! I definitely recommend Blick to all artists.

Family owned, excellent selection on hand in every discipline except performing arts, (no ballet shoes.). Lots of helpers on hand with a sizable knowledge base. Friendly staff. Framing by appointment only, half hour booked online barely enough for single image consultation, call for a full hour consult with the framing specialist.

Well, Blick Art is Blick Art: A large selection of oil, watercolor and acrylic paints and accessories from major manufacturer (Golden, Liquitex, Winsor and Newtown), brushes, supplies, you name it. Very easy to get to, plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

If you're an artist and you haven't been to Blick yet, I highly recommend it. They have an incredible selection of art media, tools, and random fun things like stims, gifts, and coloring books. The prices are usually better than Amazon, and if you're like me and wait until 25 of your prismacolors are nubbins before replacing them, there's no better place to do so. I love that they provide small pads around the store to test dry media, and their selection of golden acrylics is unbeatable. Excellent variety of stock, clean well stocked store, helpful employees.

It was my first time to the Carle Place location and everyone was so friendly, helpful and accessible! I was able to browse and ask questions as I needed and walked out with a bunch of fun new oil paints to try!

A great art supply store! All sorts of supplies for every art need. Plus, I was approached by 3 different people and offered help. Which we all know is rare these days. I hope to have more reasons to go back.
