American Restaurant Blue reviews
17 UPDATE:
My second time visit here. The weather was so fantastic, such a peaceful view from the restaurant. I was there with a friend. We ordered vergin drinks, stuffed lobster tail & pasta. First time trying lobster tail & it was delicious. My friend didn't like his pasta dish at all, the drinks were ok. To finish it up we drank coffee.
Prices were higher like usual, service was good. We did have a good time there. I will add some new pictures!
I can't believe I waited so long to try this restaurant, even tho it's in the island & near my area! The decor is nice, place is clean, service was excellent! My server McKenzie was just awesome!
The price is high, but after the taste of food I wasn't too sad about it! If it was little cheaper I would probably be here a lot of time, for just one person the bill is pretty high. Only ordered a Virgin Mojito, one main course, one dessert & a cup of coffee!
I loved the Shrimp & The Spring Cake. Coffee was fresh & the Mojito was ok.
If you are visiting & want to have some good yummy food definitely a place you need to visit.
We got lamb shank which looked fine but gave us two days worth of food poisoning. So if you want to have your stomach cleaned sure.
Had my daughter's shower at Blue this weekend. The food was spectacular, the wait staff professional and Jeff, who coordinated the whole party, well the best ever! I recommend this fine restaurant highly.
Outdoor Dining at Blue never disappoints. The food is consistently great, the servers are very personable and you cannot beat the relaxing atmosphere! Whether you're watching a container ship go by guided by tugboats, a family of baby ducklings waddling along or the sun simply setting, it is a very enjoyable time!
I’m here right now and from when I walked in to sitting down everyone was very pleasant. Service so far is excellent. I’m all about Service and my waitress is great. Definitely coming back here. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere at Blue is definitely an experience. The service was great, but the food just average it was pricey and the portions were very small. I had the ceaser salad with steak @ $30 overpriced for the portion that I had additionally we had the stacked eggplant which was good but cold in the middle overall I did like Blue it will require a return to give a more definitive decision.
Blue is a nicer, upscale dining option on the North Shore of SI. Expect to pay $60+ per person but great traditional service experience with great food. I enjoyed and recc the lamb.
A local recommended Blue and I’m so glad we stopped here for lunch. Everything we had was delicious and would order again, including the grilled calamari, salmon, stuffed lobster, lamb burger, and key lime pie. They did an excellent job accommodating gluten free and the service was great. Highly recommend Blue for a meal with family, friends, or business.
I recently went back for dinner and was a little disappointed. The menu was fairly limited. I had the shrimp with crab meat diner. It tasted very buttery, and the linguine portion was very skimpy. They never refilled our water glasses. My previous visits there were much better.
I took my wife and daughter to Blue to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday. It was our first time dining here but let me tell you it will not be our last. From the time we walked through the door the level of service and attention was five star. Even on one of the busiest dining days of the year, the individualized attention was amazing. The pre-fixed menu could not have been better on top of having an ultimate sangria package for two hours. Last but not least the "water-front" view with out door access made for the best photos on such a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or a family brunch/dinner.
Seafood Tower for 2, oysters and surf and turf dinner for 2 with bisque. Everything was amazing and fresh can't wait to go back
Just stopped in for lunch.it's a little off the beaten path but an amazing location. Wish the "windows' were a little clearer so the view of the water would be better but nice place to stop for lunch. Great fries btw
Christy at the bar made my experience at Blue today extremely enjoyable! Her friendliness, customer service skills, knowledge & expertise are truly one of a kind! I hope this establishment appreciates her as much as my girlfriend & I did today. Thank you Christy!
Food was good, service was very good our waitress was on top of all of our needs and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful atmosphere, very clean and friendly service. Outdoor patio is by the Hudson and has a gorgeous city view. Highly recommend this place!
I stopped by here just for a drink since it was a hot day.
Servers/ employees were friendly but the manager (whoever has the highest position there that day) didnt talk to them friendly.
Although it’s not my business, still hard for me to sit there long and listen to the conversation.
Not sure if I’ll go back but I would like to and to try the food.
We met a relative who lives nearby for lunch here. They booked us a table. We were looked after straight away and the service was great. We enjoyed our meals and desert’s. The view out the back is nice and relaxing. Great venue.
