Blue Bay Diner reviews
17You don't leave hungry. Portions are huge. Food is great! Definentlly will come with family and friends again!
Came here for brunch. Our server was really attentive. They have fresh squeezed oj the real stuff! My sandwich was delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed his pancakes:) hash browns on point! Definitely will come back
The cheese & tomato omelet I ordered was a big portion ended up taking half home. However, tomato were huge chunks could've diced it a bit smaller. Otherwise food tasted fresh and delivered hot to the table.
I love diners. They have their own spirit.
On a rainy day we only order a hot matzo ball soup. It was good, my son order a burger he was happy with that. A bit pricey. $50 for 3 soup and a burger. But they serve big portions.
The bread (challah) must be really good I can tell, because my kids finish it in a second. I didn’t try any desserts but all looks very delicious!
I loved the light jazz music…
Service was really fast and parking easy.
The restaurant opens at 6AM. If kitchen is not ready, the wise thing to do would be to advise the customers that the kitchen is not ready and the food will take longer. You shouldn’t have customers waiting for forty-five minutes without an explanation. This was one of my worst experiences at this restaurant.
I only recently discovered this place and I wish I had done so earlier. From the outside, appears a typical diner, but I found, to my surprise, many very good items. I eat depending on mood so I can't pinpoint just a few items. (I tend to like my all-day brealfasts.). Caution: portions tend to be large. Plenty of parking. Gets lots of older regulars and younger people too. Later at night, one of the options. I get both takeout and eat-in.
Food was great, staff is great but after you order and get your food. Good luck with trying to get someone to refill your coffee or tea or water.
It's been years since I was back here. They seemed to be lacking in help as we had to wait 10 min after being seated to get water & silverware. But the food hasn't changed as it was very very good. I will definitely be back, hopefully they get more help.
Great food and service. 10 out of 10 stars! Veal Marsala and hot pastrami sandwich, Highly recommend.
Our Server was friendly and efficient. Good size portions and the food was good. Very pleasant diner!
Make sure you order correctly or you’ll be charged almost 50% more. My wife ordered an omelet with onions, ham, tomatoes and cheese and we were charged $25 for it. A western omelet is $16 which is basically the same.
When I asked about the price I was told that I should’ve ordered it differently.
Complete rip off. Never again!
Food and the drinks were Horrible. The manager had a nasty attitude when we asked to return the drinks.
Well organized diner with quality food and service. Gets busy so give yourself some time. The servers are friendly and professional and the food seelction is incredible.
Food was great, just slow service. They did sing and bring me cake for my birthday which was very nice.
A staple in Bayside for years! Whether its calling in for take-out or just coming in for a meal, they get the job done. Portions are large and food is delicious.
It was a great experience. Food was great. Waitress was great. I recommend this diner and I will be going back to this dinner. Thank you to the young lady that served us. Thank you so much
