Blue Bottle Coffee reviews
16I think all the staff at the Blue Bottle Shop in Manhattan are cute and pretty. I didn't know how much to tip, so I pressed a dollar. The downside is that there are a lot of customers in the store.
Terrible Service and rude baristas! I ordered 2 hot chocolates with almond milk and 1 black cardamom late. Both hot chocolates were extremely warm, nearly cold. When we asked if they could heat up the chocolate, they replied with a bad attitude and looked at me as if I was asking for something extremely weird and told me that they would have to throw it away and do it again so they could not heat it up.
I would expect to get better service and attitude due to the reputation of your brand and the price point of your products.
One of the best coffee shops in New York I love their pour over the service is amazing and the staff are very kind. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
One of the best iced mochas I ever had. They used actual real chocolate. Only negative is they don't do anything larger than 16oz. It left me wanting more. This is a must if you enjoy coffee and are near Bryant Park.
There was a lot of hype for this brand so I had to try it. I was told it would wake me up just walking in and smelling the coffee. It certainly is fragrant and there can often be a long line out the door.
As to be expected with any popular or hyped coffee chain in the city that never sleeps, the prices can be a bit of a turn off. You can read all about their statements in quality, sourcing, and methodology to justify this on their website. I wasn't looking for anything fancy so I got an espresso shot to pick myself up in the lull of the afternoon. It smelled great and tasted fine, but I didn't find myself any more like the energizer bunny than I did prior. I will say, their menu options seem like a better set of choices in terms of sugar content against caffeine compared to something like Starbucks.
Black cardamom latte with regular milk is really good. It’s fresh, sweet, and the aromatics are refreshing. If you like something sweet with milk, this is the one to go for.
Great beans, awesome coffee, friendly baristas, overall one of my top places for coffee in NY. Highly recommend! Only downside is their lobby is tiny with limited seating space.
Heard good things about Blue Bottle Coffee but sadly the service, wait time and coffee just didn’t match expectations. $6.80 for a regular Latte, 16 minutes wait time (yet only 3 tickets ahead of me) which seemed excessive. 4 members of staff yet the place lacked any sort of engagement and even when I could see a staff members struggling to get through the door with stock and I rushed to help hold the door open it wasn’t even acknowledged. Sadly I won’t be returning as coffee was okish but certainly not enough reason to pass the hundreds of other coffee shops in NYC.
My go-to coffee break spot during weekday office hour but minus one star because I have to line up (10-15min) to get a coffee here most of time…: p (during lunch)
My favorite is New Orleans Style because its sweetness is subtle, its coffee bitter taste is subtle, but all that coming into my journey with soft milk somehow works perfect, something I can’t get from other places (yet)
New Orleans is my personal favorite. It's not that it's sweet, it's a bit bitter, it's not that it's a bit sour, it's just that it's sweet. I really like the taste of that delicate balance that makes me wonder about something in my head.
UPDATE after 10 months: revising it from 4️ to 5️ as my 5 mostly means “I would love to revisit” and I’ve been coming here literally everyday whenever I’m in the office. Highly recommend oat milk for your Nola (ie; New Orleans) as it provides amazing taste enhancement.
I highly recommend oat milk in Nola (=New Orleans). It transcends the holy trinity by adding a savory flavor to the basic combination of sour, sweet, and bitter flavors
One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Consistently good drinks, pastries, and great customer service.
It is not easy to find good coffee as a foreigner in New York. Starbucks etc.everywhere with their through away paper cups (obvious environment enemy everything else is a lie) and low quality, noisy and loud. Blue bottle is an exception they have paper cups as an alternative but the coffee lover who wants gets the coffee in a proper cup and the quality is good the staff is friendly. Enjoy and support growth in quality nit quantity.
The coffee quality is amazing! Clean and great vibes! Whenever I walk by Bryant park I have to get my coffee from here. Love it
Blue Bottle Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops! The quality of their coffee is exceptional and their baristas are always so knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere of the shop is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. I highly recommend giving it a try!
There are many Blue Bottles in Korea now, but.
Still, it's perfect to buy a drink and eat it in the park.
If you order a latte, you have to choose the type of milk, so choose it in advance.
Also, please note that you cannot enter the library with drinks.
Every time I come to this coffee they always get my order wrong! Also, always takes sooo long to
get my order.
Good coffee and friendly / helpful staff. They customized my drink and it was delicious. Small place with just a few seats. Right next to Bryant Park.
