Garrett has helped me out making me a priority on so many occasions. I have also referred him to take care of my father’s boiler system every year. We recently experienced a major setback when our on-demand hot water heater decided to call it quits. After seeing all the positive feedback from others in the Finger Lakes we reached out to Garrett Jay of Blue Jay Plumbing, and the service we received was nothing short of exceptional.

Garrett was quick to respond and come up with a plan to get us back up with hot water. Despite the challenging snowy weather conditions, Garrett made it a priority to arrive promptly and ready to address the issue.

He resolved the issue, came prepared with the necessary equipment and replacement parts, ensuring a seamless installation process. The hot water heater was up and running in no time, allowing us to regain a sense of normalcy in our home.

I can't say enough good things about Garrett of Blue Jay Plumbing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable and skilled plumber.

Garrett is amazing. He provided services in my home a few years ago when he worked for someone else. I didn't even realize he was back in town until another business referred him to me. He responded right away and set up a time to evaluate the problem I was having with my air conditioning system. He addressed the issue and saved me tons of money. They were extremely busy so couldnt come immediately but were kind enough to spend quite a bit of time on the phone walking me through troubleshooting until the problem was fixed. I cant express how grateful I am. I HIGHLY recommend this business and will use them from now on!

I am admittedly more of a post a negative review person when things go wrong, than someone to highlight a great business… but Blue Jay is worth the time. We’ve used Blue Jay three times and each time we have saved thousands over the recommendations from other companies. Once because Garrett was the only one in the area with the knowledge to fix (rather than replace) our tankless water heater. Oh and by the way, he found a propane leak in our heating system at the same time that two other heating companies missed… Another time we had a contractor put grout down our sink and Blue Jay found and fixed… one other company wanted to cut holes in our floor (just to make more money turning it into construction) and another company came twice and didn’t fix the problem. Garrett picks up the phone or calls right back, we are grateful to have found an honest and competent company that comes down to Seneca Lake. Thank you, Garrett!

I have been 100% pleased with the work I’ve had done by Garrett Jay, of Blue Jay plumbing & heating. He does not do anything that does not need to be done, like those less scrupulous. What he does do, he takes pride in. I’m not sure how to say his work is beautiful, but his attention to detail, and his product use are quality materials that will give years of service. His workmanship is actually beautiful. I tend to be analytical & I’ve analyzed his work and found it to be excellent. It is quality in every way, right up there with Garrett’s warm personality and willingness to explain anything I ask. I will use Garrett Jay for my work for as long as he will have me.

Our old house needed a bunch of plumbing/heating work after we moved in - a new hose bib, a toilet repair, and boiler repair/maintenance. I had a hard time finding anyone to fix these in a reasonable time frame before I called Blue Jay. Garrett and his crew have been fantastic.
