Blue Pointe Grille reviews
16 Stopped in after looking at the menu online.
Didn't know there was a wedding going on adjacent to the restaurant in the event space.
The staff didn't skip a beat in their service to us or the wedding group that mingled into the restaurant during the "photo" shoot of the bride and groom.
The food was amazing and a nice change from the typical bar grub along.the wine trail.
I would be eager to try the Hotel next trip this way.
Comfy, cozy, clean environment. Plenty of parking in the hotel parking lot. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Good quality food. Good portion size.
Visited when staying at Watkins Glen Harbor hotel. So convenient. Food was really tasty. We had the filet mignon and a special halibut, shrimp, lobster fra diavolo.amazing
Server was very friendly and attentive and bar drink was very good. The arugula salad was delicious, but the Maryland crab soup was watery with very little crab. The lobster ravioli tasted mostly of red bell peppers, and I wouldn’t have known there was lobster in it if I didn’t know there was. The seafood scampi had very little flavor despite adding salt and pepper.
The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing was incredible…. Wish we’d each gotten one instead of just one to share.
I love the atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive and courteous. The food price and quality wasn't the best. But we will try again another time.
We went for breakfast and it was fantastic! I highly recommend the stuffed blueberry French toast. Service was excellent as was the ambiance.
We had breakfast here and it was great! Our server Taylor was super friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my omelette and the pumpkin pancakes were divine. My boyfriend said the home fries (potatoes) were very hard but I liked them. I wish they used fresh egg rather than liquid eggs but it still tasted good. The lakeview is nice! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more upscale breakfast in the area.
The porterhouse steak was so tender and delicious ($55). It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Breakfast omelet with spinach, apple and cheddar cheese was also delicious ($15). It came with hash brown potatoes and toast.
Not sure what the shrimp qeusadella was made in, but it had slippery slime all over it. THE FIRST BITE, THERE WAS A LONG BLACK HAIR EMBEDDED IN IT. TOTALLY GROSS. FOR $22. Not a good experience.
Nice location on the waterfront of Watkins Glen. Enjoy a drink on the patio. Service was friendly, food was good (not great) and a little overpriced.
Had a lovely time at blue point grille! It was the first restaurant we tried in Watkins Glen and it definitely left a great impression for the rest of the trip.while we didn’t stay at the hotel, there were fire pits available to be used by guests (im assuming) which i think is a great touch!
We stopped for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect!
Great view of the marina and lake. Food quality was excellent, service was excellent. Prices are high, but I feel worth it.
Very average food for a pricey Watkins Glen hotel. There are better food choices in the area.
We were visiting the area and made a stop here. It's inside a hotel so at first we weren't sure we had the right spot. The atmosphere was nice and we had a wonderful young man as a waiter, he was attentive and delightful. For the price point I expected the food to be a little better but it was just ok for me, my chicken although moist and well done was unfortunately on the bland side, my boyfriend ordered the pork chops they were made blackened he found it tasty. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but I would expect more for the price tag in terms of flavor.
The Blue Pointe Grill is a great place to relax and have a cocktail. Excellent view of Seneca Lake. The food is good and the service is excellent. They also have a vegan menu.
