This is the perfect place for a first time gun buyer. A few years back I got an excellent recommendation and I was provided with resources for training and education. I had a lot of fun getting to know the people who are working there. When I was ready for my second rifle, once again I called them up and described what I was interested in and they gave me another excellent recommendation.

I'm not aware of any other gun shops in Erie county personally but I have nothing but great things to say about blue tuna. Very inviting for sure.

These guys are so good that if I moved out of Buffalo I would come back to WNY just to buy guns from them always friendly and knowledgeable they should franchise all over the world so everyone can experience the awesome service they provide

Blue tuna gunsmithing is hands-down the best Gunsmithing In Erie County The staff is very friendly and experienced Blake is an exceptional employee and they are not cocky like other stores from first timers to experience gun owners this is the store

Guys come here if you want good service. They can get you in and out in less than half an hour if you already know what your looking for. Currently they are only doing minimum contact so you can't see what they have in store. But call ahead and they will help you out

Very knowledgeable & friendly staff. Great selection of firearms and ammo. Met the owner the one day seems like a real normal down to earth guy. I'd highly recommend them, not many smaller gun stores left, I'm glad to give them my business. Keep up the good work!

I went in trying to get a XS big dot sight put on my ruger sp101. I met with Mia and Blake and they were great! Super helpful and very nice to work with. Blake played with my revolver a little bit and told me my trigger didn’t feel right so we came to a decision to send it to ruger to take a look. I was told 6 weeks, 7 weeks later I called and they said by that Wednesday or Thursday and then it turned into 8 weeks AND THEN I had to call them and ask if they had my firearm which they said yes? So why didn’t they call me? After all that nothing was wrong with my sp101 and they told me that the sight couldn’t be installed because he’s never done one that he was “happy” with and that he doesn’t want his name associated with it, which kind of blows my mind when your a certified gun smith and replacing a sight is an issue. He flat out told me no. He won’t do it but he has all the tools which also was mind blowing. Then I had to pay 30 bucks for them to hold my gun for 8 weeks when all I wanted was my sight put on. So once I left I took it to buffalo gun center and they put that same sight on my ruger in 15 minutes and it looks beautiful! I can put the old one back in if needed as well where blue Tuna Gunsmithing was gonna completely drill a new whole in my revolver. So long story short I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unfortunately because Blake was fantastic to talk to but when it comes to Gunsmithing they were absolutely no help. Can’t beat Buffalo Gun Center they know they’re stuff.

Very friendly staff, had a wide selection and was willing to order a gun I wanted. Very knowledgeable and welcoming to questions for someone new in the hobby. Place felt family owned compared to cabelas and had equally competitive if not better prices.

Phenomenal customer service. Any time I've needed anything they're there for me. Very knowledgeable staff, and very helpful with any questions you may have regardless of how dumb the question is.

Paul, Blake, and Mia are always helpful with knowledgeable insight on the products they're selling. Paul's Cerakote jobs are quiet impressive with the amount of detail he puts into building a gun. This place is absolutely phenomenal! It has a small, mom and pop feel to it! You will feel like you are walking into your grandpa's hunting lodge but at the same time you will see that they have tons of diverse inventory. The staff here are really great folks as well. Check this place out!

Quoted price for a cerakote job turned into over double the cost i was quoted for my shotgun. After 2 phone calls and fb messages with the company and i was informed the max cost would be "$100" show up with my barrel and they doubled the charge.wouldnt recommend them to anyone! Horrible customer service in person.how can someone double the cost of a service when i already had a quote! I dont advise anyone to use them for cerakote or any other services. Not even a vague attempt to keep me as a customer. Or honor their original quote of between $60-$100.

Everyone, I repeat, EVERYONE, From the owner and his partner to the nice young lady and counter guy are all FANTASTIC PEOPLE AND GREAT to work with. They WANT to go out of their way to help you. They will order anything and MATCH internet prices. They are the absolute OPPOSITE of buffalo sin center. I will NEVER GO ELSEWHERE. THEY EVEN order ammo for you in quantity online to save $$$.

Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Paul the owner worked on my Romanian model Tokerav pistol. Fast turnaround and excellent workmenship. Could not be more pleased with the finished product. Highly recommend this fine establishment.

The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The negative I can say about my experience was I was charged $60 per gun transfer.

I ordered a CZ P10C & a M&P shield 2.0 online, I was obviously excited to receive my firearms. I was first being assisted by Blake, I asked him how much the transfer would be and he said $60, which I assumed would be the total cost for the transaction ($30 per not ridiculous at all). I was passed off to Mia because the store was getting fairly busy and Blake needed to assist another customer.

As Mia was finishing up the paper work, I asked again how much the transfer fee was and she said $60. To clarify i asked "is that $60 total or per transfer? " to which she said "per transfer"

At this point, there is not much I can do, but had i known they would charge me $60 per firearm transaction i would have not shipped my guns to this FFL. I ordered my guns through Buds Gun Shop, and their price listed on Buds for firearm transfers was listed as $35.

I think this is something the Blue Tuna should put on their website, the fact that Buds has their transfer fee listed as $35 (which is what i was expecting to pay per gun) and the "store price" is $60 per and not listed anywhere on their website or within the store. 1.) that is a huge difference in price & 2.) they need to make their patrons aware of what they will be charging them for transfers.

The $120 I spent in transfer fee's was not a pleasant surprise to say the least, and essentially negates on money I saved upfront on the firearm purchases themselves.

All in all a good shop to go to for your gun needs.

As a new potential owner I was a novice. I worked with Paul 1st who was excellent at providing enough info to make a decision but not too much to overwhelm. He was able to get me into an instructor in a timely fashion as I had a course coming up. Went in again and met Mia. She was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Didn't try to oversell. Paul remembered me and called me by name. So far a great experience with this store.

I've purchased 3 rifles from Blake! He really knows his stuff. Believe it or not my wife was interested in a new ar 15 so I brought her to blue tuna guns. After talking with Blake for a bit she picked out her very first ar. These guys are knowledgeable and honest! No B. S here! They tell you how it is. They've earned themselves 2 very satisfied customers, I won't go anywhere else for firearms and service.
