Bluestone Lane DUMBO Café, Brooklyn NY

Super cute cafe in Brooklyn! We stopped by to grab some lunch. I really liked the beet latte and avocado toast. Decor inside is very Instagram worthy.

Just moved to dumbo and felt adventurous so I visited Bluestone Lane last week and ordered hot Milo with a shot of espresso, and a donut.first they got my order wrong, no espresso in the drink, instead they changed it to skim milk (which i didn’t request), second the drink taste nothing like Milo - it was 92% milk and 8% milo powder.very disappointing.

The worst hospitality experience ever! They have only one server who came to serve us 30mins after we have been seated. We wanted to eat but everything we asked for he says they don't have it while the table next to us was served with the same food we asked for.
I would never go back here again. I had way higher expectations!

Good restaurant for a coffee and breakfast. The restaurants has a lot of seating and it’s near Dumbo so it’s a good spot before heading there or if only need a coffee.

Two complaints, they are understaff there was only two people behind the bar and one waiter which was also working as hostess. It was faster to order to go and eat at the counter than waiting for the waiter to come back and order.

My other complain is that the pastries are so underwhelming. The pastries with chocolate have basically no chocolate. They have more air than chocolate inside. Get a coffee but skip any pastry with chocolate inside.

The food was fine, but the drinks (literally just a mocha and hot tea) took forever to arrive. We had to remind them.

The cafe is always clean and fully stocked ready to take my order and serve me with a smile, even if I get there a few minutes before open! These kids really know how to make a team come together and get stuff done! And always with a smile, too!

I will always attribute bluestone as a elite coffee place that I love to work from. There's something about this place and it's ambience. Their coffee is surely one of the best. A perfect place to go to on Saturday morning to have breakfast with good coffee

We ordered two salads and two drinks from uber eats. The drinks were missing when the order came. The salads were super small. Bad portion sizes. Only two slices of cucumber in each salad.

I went to the restaurant and talked to the people who worked there and they were very nice however, I would not order from here again. You can’t charge almost 18 dollars for a few leaves.

The place is really nice and comfy! The food is delicious! So good! I ate a banana bread that was very very good and a chicken roll OMG the combination of bacon with the avocado and the tasty chicken made it perfect! I really recommend this place!

I absolutely loved this place! Definitely recommend it! It was our first time at Dumbo and a friend invited us here. The food was amazing and the customer service was wonderful. Daniel our server was super helpful and attentive, he made great recommendations and was so patient with my indecisive friend lol. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the stuff in the menu ️

Despite waiting 30 minutes it seemed like the breakfast burrito had been sitting out for a long time (the cheese was already hardened) the wrap was soft and soggy instead of toasted and the ingredients were bland. I asked to reheat it which took another 5 minutes but it seemed to be the same temperature. I didn't want to waste anymore time so I just left, definitely not worth $16-17

Horrible service, took them 40 min to put together a salad and they’d totally forgotten about it. We needed to check on our order twice before they even bothered to look into it

Watch out for discriminating service standards - would have to ascertain yourself to get basic service for not so great food

Pros: tasty breakfast burrito that is the main reason we keep coming back, good coffee, pretty decor
Cons: you will wait close to an hour for your food order, the servers couldn’t care less about anything

it’s a trade off!
