Board & Brush Creative Studio - Staten Island reviews
5I was here recently. I don't post reviews often, but I highly recommend it. The staff was great. My project turned out so nice. I was so happy to show it off. The experience inside the place was fun and exciting. When I needed help in Spanish a young worker who knew Spanish helped me, she was great. I was very happy about that. I'm sure to say I'll be back. I'm going to bring my husband. Thank you.
Had a great time at this studio. Instructors were friendly and helpful. Excellent music to work by made for an enthusiastic atmosphere. My project came out great! Special thanks to Nicole Doria!
First it says arrive early workshop will
start on time, so I arrived 15 min early and the doors were locked. We were told to wait outside they needed 15 min to set up. Meanwhile they were standing around inside while we were outside in the cold. Second you are stuck with the design that comes with the project unless you pay an added fee on top of the $73.00. Third I felt so rushed and some of the details were missing from the second layer of my project. I had to go home and sand down my project and re do some of the areas because there was so many bleeds because the ladies didn’t glue the stencil down properly. I also went and bought matching paint to fix all the imperfections. One instructor had no clue what to do. She must have been new. Finally the instructions about glitter were confusing and when I asked I was told by the instructor that she didn’t say that. This isn’t my first experience here but it was a girls night and I figured I would give it another try. The first time my lazy Suzy was just that - lazy. It wobbles and I cannot use it as a lazy Suzy. Maybe others have had better experience but so not worth the money for a piece of wood. Other places do a much better job. I would have given it less stars but didn’t want to make the rating go down too low.
What a great night! Heather and Adrianna were fantastic. They explained everything that needed to be done and there were so many projects to pick from.
This is a must do on Staten Island. Everything about this place is 5 stars.
The quality you walk out the door with is better than anything you could buy online. The fact that you get a personalized piece you made yourself and can cherish forever for 75 bucks is a steal! Try to order something like this online you’ll pay double the price and don’t get the experience and the night out. We will for sure be back!
