I went to this doctor for help with infertility. He told me about a surgery he could perform called a varicocelectomy. I had never heard of this surgery before but he said that it could help. I trusted him and went ahead with the surgery. Biggest mistake of my life! I've since suffered from excruciating nerve pain that won't go away, which I never had before the surgery, and have had to get several nerve block injections for the pain. The pain is unrelenting and burning in nature. I've also had to visit the ER twice and have seen multiple specialists since the surgery due to the pain. Other doctors I checked with afterwards told me that pain from this type of procedure shouldn’t happen very often, if at all. They also told me that they hadn’t noticed any varicoceles when they examined me prior to the surgery and that the probability of success was actually much lower than what he had quoted me before the surgery. When I asked for my imaging, they were reluctant to give me my ultrasound images taken prior to the surgery. I would not perform any surgeries with this man. There are much better doctors out there who will tell it the way it actually is, and not try to sell you on a surgery that you don’t actually need!
