First time visiting this spot with friends. The staff was friendly the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I'm looking forward to returning.

This place seemed to be always crowded every time we passed by it. Not for nothing… our 1st visit here was 5 star from start to finish.

Super friendly & professional staff clicking in a team effort. At least 4 different people approached our table to make sure everything was fine, offer drinks, Parmesan cheese or to chit chat to find out if we had any requests.

The food… culinary artistry at its finest. Best Moscow Mules I have ever had. Everything was clearly fresh & perfectly prepared to order. I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

A pretty good pre fixe 3 course lunch deal in the area. Tuna tartare, chicken parm and tiramisu all good quality. Absolutely large portion sizes compared to the 42nd st location.

Great Italian restaurant with really good food, excellent service and very friendly staff, specially Simone who made our visit special.

Expected a lot more based off the positive reviews. Our waiter seemed more annoyed than happy. We felt so intimidated to even ask for anything. If you’re going for cocktails or apps it’s not a bad place. Our dinners were poorly made and just had a terrible aftertaste. We asked for sparkling water when we got tap. There were floaters in our drinks … I just wish the professionalism was there because we never complained.

Terrible Service; mediocre food - not worth the cost! I'm not sure how it's so highly rated. We came in for dinner after attending a funeral, and the funeral service was more enjoyable.

The restaurant itself was very loud and chaotic. 2 different servers took our drink orders, and they didn't seem to be communicating with each other. The drinks came quickly, and we ordered our dinner right away.

About 45 minutes after we ordered, our food had still not come, and we asked our server how long it would be. He said he would go check and didn't return. We didn't get our food for another 45 minutes and we had to wave down other servers to get drinks. The manager was not alerted to the delay or our frustration; or if he was, he lied to me about this.

When the food finally arrived, the 6 dishes that arrived were VERY hot, but the food on the dishes was cold. The 7th dish did not arrive with the others. At this point, I went to find the manager who said he would look into it but offered no apology or sign that he cared at all.

The 7th dish came about 15 minutes after the rest. The "quality check" that occurred was completed by the server, not the manager, as would be expected with a meal as delayed as this one. We explained that the meals that came on time were all cold, bland, and/or undercooked (the veal was chewy and pink on the inside) and that we were disappointed. He barely acknowledged this and walked away.

Once we were "finished, " we were given our $500+ bill. There was auto-gratuity, and there were no dishes taken off the bill despite the trouble we experienced. At this point, I stepped away to speak with the manager, AGAIN (who claimed his name is Jeff, though I suspect he gave me a fake name as he knew I was upset) The bartender had to go find him, and he appeared from downstairs 10 minutes later.

I explained that this was the most disappointing restaurant experience I've had in years and asking that we pay full price is assinine. He said he couldn't do anything as he didn't know there were any problems. This was after I spoke to him twice. He was aware of the problems, and there were ABSOLUTELY steps he could have taken to make this right.

Had a blast at Bocca. The ambiance is beautiful, attentive service and great portions. The calamari was super fresh and the Ahi tuna tartare was out of this world. The lamb chops was seasoned well and the pasta carbonara, I couldn’t get enough. The table side tiramisu was beautifully presented and very unique to other tiramisu I had in the past. Great spot for birthday, date night and/group get together.

A pleasant surprise. Fun owner and staff with character (in a very good way). Very good and honest Italian food. Nothing left to wish for. Thank you!

Omar delivered exceptional service, and the food was remarkably delicious, also their outstanding lunch offer ensures that we will keep coming back.

I wanted to like this place. The atmosphere just wasn't it for me. Too loud to talk, too dark to see my food, service a little more blunt than I was used to on my week-long trip to NYC.

My steak frites were great (steak cooked and seasoned perfectly) and my wife enjoyed her pasta. We had 2 other adults with us, and reactions were mixed, though we came because a previous experience of theirs warranted their rave reviews.

I tried to order a la carte oysters but they insisted on a minimum order. They were served attached with no utensil to detach and undressed. Hard to imagine why the bare minimum effort of throwing oysters on ice warranted a minimum order.

I saw they had good kid-friendly options on a lunch menu but not on the dinner menu, but when asking about a kids menu, it was a hard "no". I ordered meatballs and fries for my kids but the meatballs was too gristly for my daughter and went uneaten, but I tasted them and they were decent. My other child had the Caesar salad.

If I were in New York again and needed to come here, I'd likely opt for day time for a calmer atmosphere and different menu, and it could very well be a wildly different experience given how good my steak frites and my wife's pasta was.

We were so excited to try this place for dinner and made reservations in advance. After being seated, we waited about 15-20 minutes for water and for menus. We arrived pretty hungry and made the reservation in advance so it was pretty frustrating to wait so long to even be greeted by a waiter. We did eventually get the chance to order and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the gnocchi and the vodka pasta - both of which were okay, but nothing blew us away. Our plates also got taken away pretty quickly, and then we sat there waiting for another 20+ minutes before our waiter came by to ask us if we wanted dessert or anything else. We were originally planning on trying dessert but we were pretty disappointed at how long it was taking for us to be noticed so we just asked for the check. After the check, the waiter seemed frustrated visibly with us at the end and left us with a bad feeling walking out. I wouldn’t usually complain about wait times, especially on a busy night, but the wait times combined with a waiter who couldn’t be bothered with us really left us with a sour taste upon leaving the restaurant.

I stopped for brunch and had the Pera salad. I thought the food was mediocre and overpriced. I cook at home a lot so my standards are pretty high when I go out to eat.

Staff were knowledgeable, the decor was well done and the food was good damn phenomenal. The pasta was fresh, the appetizers fresh and the portions were enormous. Even the cocktails were well done. The meal was honestly underpriced and I intend to go back some day.

Just amazing. We went with friends and had a great evening. We had a reservation for 7.45 but since we arrived at 7 we were able to sit at the bar and wait there. We saw people eating next to us at the bar so we decided to order drinks (BEST COCKTAIL MENU) and food right there. The food was excellent, meatballs as an appetizer and some pasta as a main course. The bread from the bread basket was fresh and delicious. Finally we ordered dessert and it was very good too. Torta di cioccolata with strawberry ice cream. This place was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Great ambience. The current Restaurant Week menu was wonderful value for money, and our dishes were delicious. Our server Lana was so professional and personable, and the remaining serving staff were very friendly and attentive. We noticed the General Manager, Tony, was also attentive to the details. I was surprised with a candle in my dessert, along with a change in music to a birthday song - so thoughtful! Thank you!

Management & staff were very accommodating of our party of 10 especially considering it was a Saturday night. Appreciated the bread too. Serving sizes were satisfying & fair value for the price/location. A little cozy & dark, but enjoyable.

Ive always liked this place. New space in Hell's Kitchen is comfortable and attractive. Service is on point and efficient. The current Restaurant Week menu is a fabulous value at $45 and the food was delicious. Good wine selections and full bar. The papardelle with lamb ragu was yummy. And a gorgeous tiramusu.

Very warm welcome, the servers are very professional and friendly. The pasta is delicious. We had a good time.

This is a ok neighborhood spot for Italian food. Italian is always great for vegetarians. Restaurant is no frills. Standard Italian fare. Good service.
