Bolton Boat Tours and Water Sports on Lake George, Diamond Point NY

3rd year in a row in Lake George, and 3rd year with Captain Ted and Tim… makes for a fantastic family trip! Tubing, fishing, cliff jumping, and great views of Lake George! We highly recommend Bolton Boat Tours to anyone!

We’ve gone on a Bolton Boat Tour 2 times and it’s been the highlight of our trip! Will be our first call anytime we come to town!

Used Bolton Boat Tours for the first time in 2021, & it was by far our favorite activity for the week. So much so that it was the first thing we booked for this year’s visit, & it will be again next year.
Last year we did 3 hours. This year we initially booked 4 hrs, & scheduled another 3-hr tour before the week was over.
Tim was our guide each time, & we can’t say enough about him. Tim is knowledgeable, easy-going, fun…makes it easy to relax & feel at ease right away so you get the most out of your trip. He also has a great way with young kids.
We went cruising, tubing, cliff jumping, & swimming. Between the beauty of the lake, islands, & mountains, and such a personable “captain, ” I was perfectly content just riding around in the boat, but there is plenty of fun to be had for all ages, not to mention the wealth of knowledge about the area that Tim shares during the ride.
This should be on your must-do list for sure!

We recently did our 2nd boat tour with Captain Tim (first one in 2020), and once again, it was the highlight of our Lake George trip! He is entertaining, knowledgable, and accommodating - and the kids had an absolute blast tubing and cliff diving! Even when we were done, Tim took the time to recommend an ice cream place and restaurants for dinner, and his picks were perfect!

I highly recommend Captain Ted and Bolton Boat Tours! We had an amazing experience. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and professional. He made sure everyone in our party felt safe and had a great time! Tubing and cliff jumping were a blast!

Our group of 7 (4 adults & 3 kids 10 - 5) had a fantastic two hours with Captain Ted! We wanted to go "tubing" and fishing and he gave everyone the time and attention they needed. All had a great time. Time with Captain Ted will definitely be a part of our next visit to Lake George.

Can't say enough about Mary who handles the phones. We needed to change our appointment at the last minute and she was incredibly understanding and helpful.

All said, this was a great time.

Captain Tim is the best! This is the second year we booked a boat tour with him and 4 of us went back for a sunset tour again the same week. He took us swimming, tubing and rock jumping. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I could not say enough good things about Bolton Boat Tours. Not only were they very friendly and obviously love their jobs but made sure my kids and I were well taken care of and had a blast. In the words of my kids “best.day.ever. ” We can’t wait to return next year for another tour and some fishing!

This was such a treat! We took a two hour tour with Captain Ted and it did not disappoint.and I had three teenagers with me! Tubing, cliff jumping, swimming, and learning about the area all in two hours.

Probably one of the best experiences I've had while visiting lake george! Tim, who was our captain, went above and beyond to make our two hour tour worthwhile. He was easy-going and nice to everyone. Both the rock jumping in the cove and the tubing made the tour something to remember. Highly recommend using this family-run boat tour company as opposed to the ones near the village and Glens falls.

Captain Tim was very informative, a great driver! Safety was very important, and he was very engaged with all. We had a 4 year old on the boat, and Captain Tim took time to learn all of our names and about us. We will definitely book with him again!
