Bolton's Pharmacy, Watertown NY

I was looking for a new place to send my prescriptions. My doctor practices in 2 states, he travels. They won’t fill your prescription if your doctor is able to work in another state. This is wrong! I’ve been with my doctor for many of years and he’s a great doctor! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

My wait time today, both times, was very long. The pharmacist who handled my return when I came back with an unwanted item was very rude and gave me a lot of attitude even though I was honest, straightforward, and apologetic for his time. I purchased a bottle of off-brand Allegra (fexofenadine) for about $37. After thinking about it, I decided the medication was too expensive and I didn't need it so I brought it back, unopened and in the same condition, for return.

The pharmacist initially refused my return and he told me it is illegal for them to accept returns or refund me for the medication. After looking it up, I have not been able to find any New York State legislation that designates fexofenadine as a controlled substance or mandates pharmacies to refuse unwanted and unopened over-the-counter medications. I came back in and insisted that I had done nothing to the medication, and needed the money back. Without confirming return, the pharmacist finally gave in and scanned the item for return before giving me a cash refund, in a very annoyed way, as if I was inconveniencing him for changing my mind and bringing back the product in its original packaging with the receipt. He then walked away without another word to me and threw the product away.

This is a sad experience for me with the pharmacist as the last employee I picked up a prescription from was very kind and polite, but after being treated in such a callous and unprofessional way and given misinformation by one of your pharmacists, I no longer feel comfortable sending my prescriptions here.

I recently went to Bolton’s for two immunizations and felt compelled to write a review. I love that they are a hometown pharmacy with local employees. They always have been warm and inviting, and this time was as expected. Colleen was great, was helpful and informative. Her injection technique was seamless. Thank you all once again.

Cassandra has been extremely helpful in getting my parents set up with pill packs. My parents live out of town and having pill packs is going to help them a great deal. Cassie has been wonderful. I would recommend them to everyone.

Melissa was such an amazing help today! She went above and beyond looking for a boot cover for my daughters medical boot, so she could attend camp this weekend with her school group. Thank you Melissa

Every time in there they are super friendly and fast. Clean and alot of cute things there!

Tried all the other pharmacies first for walk in Covid Vaccines and they all told me to schedule an appointment despite their sites saying “walk ins available”

I try Bolton’s Pharmacy and they told me to come on in and worked with me really quick. Amazing service.

A pharmacy you can trust! What friendly and helpful people. I was picking up a prescription for my young daughter - Both the cashier and pharmacist were so kind. They really took the time to talk the medication through & gave us all of the information we needed.

Bolton's is the best. They are kind courteous and professional. They go the extra mile to meet your needs. They were very good to me after my eye surgery and they deliver too. Thank goodness we have them.

Simply the best pharmacy in the area! Ask about their blister packs it changed my parent's life. Great for elder care!

They really do care about their patrons. I went in for a covid vaccine and I have severe needle anxiety. I have panic attacks, I almost always faint, it’s not a fun time. However, the staff did their best to accommodate my needs and make the process easier for me. They had a reclining chair so I could lie down, they were super friendly and patient with me, and no one was rude or condescending over my fear like other places I’ve been. One staff member sat with me for probably half an hour afterwards until I was able to stand up without passing out. I’m terrible with names, but I believe it was Melissa (it was 10/13 around 1: 30pm). She and the rest of the staff were awesome!

I have been dealing with comic and game shops for 18 years. And though most of my experiences have been positive. I have also learned to settle. But not at Boltons. The service is a step above any of my previous experiences. I have switched all my game collecting both board and Rpg to here. The prices are fair and always lower then Amazon.
Give Shawn and his friendly staff a try I do not believe you will be Disappointed

This place has turned into a joke! Never have anything ready. People are slow and they get rid of all the good help. 20 plus yrs going here and may switch pharmacy. Vey sad!

I've been using Bolton's for years and can't imagine switching. The staff at Bolton's are always friendly with great service. One person in particular always goes above and beyond for me. Melissa, if you read this, you don't know how much I appreciate all the hard work you do for me! Most of the time she'll have my prescriptions all filled before I even call. Makes my stressful situation a little easier to deal with. Not sure if she'll even see this but just want to say thank you to Bolton's staff and her especially.
