The food quality is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. The service is sometimes good and sometimes not so good.

However, don’t be fooled be the owner’s initial courtesy and seemingly “friendliness”. When you are a new customer, he treats you well and with respect. He comes to your table and asks how good the food and service are and he chats with you in a respectful way, but he’s just pretending. He is not genuine, and he is a mean person with an attitude.

Once you become a regular customer, they take you for granted and their real carelessness and arrogance emerge.

I have seen the owner sitting behind the counter taking take-out orders and making mistakes and when the customer tells him that the order is/was not right, he responds back with an attitude as though he is always right. I have seen the owner sitting behind the counter and treating his staff like a “piece of … “ and talking to them as though they are his slaves.

I think you can find better Indian restaurants and better places to have Indian food.

The food is amazing. And the service fantastic. The chicken samosas were so good. And everything we got was amazing.

The guy that took my order over the phone was very impatient and rude. So when I came to pick up my order he only gave one plate of rice when I specifically told him I want rice with both orders then he went in the kitchen took a long time to fix me 2 little small platter of rice he was very Stingy with the rice. Like I paid $59.43 for my food I’m not asking you for free food have the nerve to be impatient is that how you run a business. There is a lot of Indian restaurants in my area. I will not go there. The food wasn’t that great anyway

The food is excellent, I would recommend the chicken Tika samosas! It is my absolute favorite! The service very good and they are extremely gluten-free friendly, and the owner is very knowledgeable! We even got free ice cream.

Food is awesome BUT very upset that we were seated to eat and then not informed that they were closing from 2: 30-5pm. They sat us, served us a full meal including drinks and appetizers- then we were rushed out the door because they were “closing” when the hours online (including Facebook) still say open. You need to update your hours online to reflect what your door says! Also do NOT seat people if you are not going to let them finish their meal! We would have been totally FINE taking our meal to go/ coming back later if we were told that upon arrival. Seems we were seated just so they could take our money and then kick us out. Any restaurant I’ve ever been to let’s you finish eating as a paying customer and we certainly spent enough money.

Delicious food & great service! I always get the lunch box and they give you a lot of food for just around $10.

Amazing food and service, whether its take out or sit in. Waiters are very hospitable and nice. Music is lovely. Staff is amazing. Great service. Most of all DELICIOUS high quality food.must try!

Dishes are always fresh and prepared well.call ahead when you want to take out and they will make sure it is ready for you.kind service, one of my favorite weekly lunch spots.

Spent $50 on food dine in and can’t bring $5 chocolate milk because they don’t want to allow it. Had to take to go

I can’t handle spicy food but love the taste of Indian food. I was buying a soda so it’s not like I was stealing money from them.

Waiter doesn’t make the rules but he was rude about it.

I usually spend $20-60 every time I go to a restaurant.

It’s unfortunate that bringing my own drinks made me upset. Now I don’t want to ever come back.

Let me start off by saying the service was exceptional. We had the loveliest servers. Joy was particularly kind and generous. Taught us a bit about the dishes we were eating and made the experience really phenomenal. The food was also quite delicious. I had the butter chicken, my partner had the lamb rogan josh. He mentioned it was very tender and the same with my chicken. Really a quality meal and the experience was exceeded our expectations! Would HIGHLY recommend to everyone!

Food was delicious, definitely an underrated Indian spot in town. Service is good the naan is good. However not the BEST Indian spot. Still a solid choice and great food. Prices are good too!

I recently transferred to New City for work and was hopeful when I found Bombay Grill, as I adore Indian cuisine. My first order was a dish I'd had many times over the years and it was the best I've ever had, hands down. I was thrilled beyond words to discover that they also offer gluten-free naan, both regular and garlic! I've never found gf naan anywhere else. They also have gluten-free dosas, in addition to all of the typical dishes that are normally gluten-free (I have celiac disease so this was an amazing find for me!) The dosas are even bigger than other places I've been and so delicious. The atmosphere and service is also very pleasant, so I give 5 stars!

We were visiting my parents in Rockland County and trying to find a vegan friendly restaurant. We were lucky enough to find Bombay Grill. Their vegan menu is very extensive Yeah and they were very helpful and accommodating. The Food was very good and the service was wonderful.

Great Great food and excellent service. I highly recommend this place to everyone, I will definitely be back again soon.
