Just visited their new store in Washington Heights and I'm happy to report that the bagels are just as good as 116st in every respect. The best bagels in New York!

I paid $7 for a small coffee and basic bagel which wasn't worth the $7 and got the bonus of a heavy dosage of abuse and gaslighting by an off the rails staff.

Ordered a simple toasted everything with cream cheese at about noon today, my standard bagel order dating back years. Receive my order in five minutes and it's not toasted. No biggie. I'm not angry, I just want it toasted. I bring back my order and state "I wanted it toasted can you toast this. " I didn't want a confrontation over a bagel so I didn't blame the staff.

In response, rather than simply correcting the order, the counterperson did want a confrontation: "I know you didn't order it that way. " In fact, that's exactly how I ordered it. The same way I order every bagel dating back 30 years. (Check the tape, manager.) At that point the entire staff's demeanor changed hostile, just as hostile as the employee that was now gaslighting me. Suddenly, the worst crime in the word is a purported mistaken bagel order that was never mistaken.

As you can imagine, it was all fun and games for them after that.
After taking my untoasted bagel back, they killed my re-order. Another 10 minute delay. No customer remains in the shop. I again made my re-re-request for my toasted bagel to a different counter person. At that point they finally COMMENCE toasting the toasted bagel I ordered 20 minutes prior. Total: 25 minutes, $7, and wanton hostility for a toasted bagel in a mostly barren store with a staff gaslighting you. I cannot imagine what happens to complex orders.

Big hearty bagels. Call ahead for takeout orders, or be prepared to wait. The cost of popularity.

Do not go here unless you want to devote an entire morning to some mediocre boiled bread. After waiting to order for 10 minutes, we placed an online order that was scheduled to be ready in 20 minutes. When the 20 minute mark rolled by (+30 min in shop), the order was nowhere to be seem and any attempt to check on status was rudely dismissed by the woman managing pickup. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we tried to cancel our order, but the woman refused—insisting that the order had already been started (it hadn’t). After another 10 minutes (+60 min in shop), she finally gave us an order which had the wrong bagels and wrong spreads for 3 of the 4 items!

BO’s Bagels was a brilliant find in NYC and it was so good we visited three times in four days.

Alongside every possible bagel variety and combination of cream cheese toppings are a selection of warm, made to order bagels too such as cream cheese and lox, eggs and bacon, sausage etc.

To the left hand side of the store is a section where you can purchase memorabilia, such as bagel toppings, t-shirts and tote bags.

There is a clean and modern dining area in store as well as the option to take out.

A huge selection of cold drinks are available in the refrigerators to the left of the store and collection station is to the right.

Would highly recommend.

Some people had ordered ahead of arrival which did speed up their ordering process.

Possibly the best salt bagel I’ve ever had. Not excessive amounts of pretzel salt like the others. Just the right amount of clear salt crystals.

Their service lacks on weekends when they're busy, but the lox and cream cheese sandwiches are good. Bagels are pretty good. I would recommend going on a weekday to get the best/most efficient service!

BEST BAGEL PLACE EVER! So customizable, and the staff are so helpful. The only bad thing is the wait, but it's worth it!

Hadn’t had a good bagel since leaving NY 25+ years. This place did not disappoint. Took me back to my childhood.

I love Bo's Bagels so much - they are the best bagels in New York IMHO. However, at least 25% if not a third of my orders during peak weekend times come back wrong. The wrong bagel, the wrong cream cheese, missing toppings or cream cheese, etc. This is on top of often extremely long wait times. I have developed strategies to avoid ordering certain things depending on how busy they are, because I know they will be unable to execute the order correctly. 3 stars would instantly become 5 if they can get their operation organized.

Not the best experience.
Ordered online (via chownow, the only option) and was told 11: 29 pick up. I get there right on time and let them know I was ready for pick up.
For ten minutes I still did not get called for my order, so I re-asked one of the busy staff who seemed to have no idea. They asked another staff who answered something, and told me that the bagel was being toasted now. The staff generally seemed annoyed but unconcerned.
13 min after expected pick up, I got the bagel that wasn’t even toasted and the bagel was very dry.

I’m torn on how to review this place. I really like the food and the employees have always been nice, but they get my order wrong about as often as they get it right, sometimes missing key ingredients. I got an uptown vegan sandwich yesterday, and when I got it home I realized it was missing avocado and sprouts. Last time I got an egg and cheese, they forgot the cheese. About 1/3 of the time I get a bagel w/cream cheese, they use the wrong cream cheese (despite me double checking with them when I pick it up). If I pay $11 for a bagel sandwich, I expect it to be right. It’s maddening.

I called ahead to place my order and got it right when i arrived.good flavor tofu cream cheese but they were out of avocado for the day when I got there at 1pm. The cucumber they gave was little but it was good.

Nice, small bagel shop offering a nice variety of bagels, sandwiches and drinks. One of the few places you can buy tofu cream cheese which I adore! Also sell merch and seasonings for you to use at home. Will definitely come back to try some
