Department Store Boscov's reviews
21Great shopping experience. Wonderful old time customer service. Boy I miss that kind of service. Awesome sale pricing on many name brand items. Next time I'm in Binghamton, I will definitely stop in and do some shopping. If you have not been there you are missing out.
Friend mentioned to me that the floor creaks just like the old Philadelphia sales she is so right lol
Got some really cute boots and the salesperson was really nice even though I asked for like, 3 different sizes.
Terrible place! Some rude people who work there! Some of them judge u. Some high prices. Don't go here unless u want to be judged or spent too much!
Love Boscov's! It is a great department store with a variety of many different things great women's section handbags shoes in the in the basement in on Christmas decorations and just a great place to shop
Was Folwlers, growing up,
Boscov's has been detrimental to Binghamtons come back.
Downtown is a nice place.
I don't know why Binghamton keeps bailing this company out. Highway robbery! I went there for a shirt, tie and sox for my son and myself for a funeral, and a pair of pants for him. Long story short, Boscovs: cheapest shirt $40+ each, tie $25+ each, pants $75+each-LOWEST PRICES. Socks were the only sale so that's all we got. Their loss for dishonesty. Went to Walmart-2 shirts $13 each, pants $25, no ties. Found two at home.
Great sales. Need to turn up/on some AC, way to warm. 1st time there & spent nearly 3 hrs ️ out all 3 floors! Avoid LAZ lot, attendant "left" & I now have a "ticket" to send in for using it (lot was CASH only btw)
Lots of items. Air conditioning needs work. Was hot on 2nd floor. The elevators need some attention too as have seen better days. Good deals and sales.
Prices are right. Binghamton's only downtown department store. If it seems familiar, you prolly saw it on Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone, you know - the one where the store mannequins came to life?
Boscov's in Binghamton is one of the last great department stores. It takes me 10 minutes to scan through Target, but Boscov's is a 3 hour experience. The building is old an in dire need of a paint job, the elevators make noise, but the merchandise is classic and beautiful. Aisle after aisle, row after row of great stuff packed in, as if online shopping didn't exist. They offer everything. Boscov's is a pleasure!
I ordered a couch online back in the end of March. I was told it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Yet I did not receive any update until I decided to email them. I emailed them on week 7,8,9, and 10. And each time they were unhelpful and just said that it wasn't in yet. I just got it today and it has been just about 19 weeks. I understand that furniture is on back order but then I shouldn't have been given the time frame of 6-8 weeks. They should have also have tried to keep me updated instead of me constantly reaching out to them. Overall it's been a very frustrating experience.
Clean. Reasonable prices! 4 floors from beds to dress suites. They have the "Auditorium" with mega sales, as seen on TV, & clearence. Its a real Dept. Store Chain.
Quite the casual dress department type of an store! The model of items upon their store sale, suites the on the go male and female, suggestful of the lowered pricings lists.
Number one you have four floors active can only one bathroom which is in the extreme hardest Park to get to I don't know what that's all about but that is ridiculous especially with the amount of older people that go there every time I'm there and the other thing is it's cold in the winter and hot in the summer just the reverse of what it's supposed to be and I have noticed that a good example is like men's summer shorts they're on sale but the pockets are so small you can't get your finger in there another words that throwbacks you asked me I told you have a nice day
Decent store helpful employees. The store is in need of a major upgrade. They waiting on state funds to help renovate the building.
My favorite place to shop when I need to grab a gift last minute or a new outfit. It's right in Binghamton. No need to drive all the way to vestal or the mall!
I never have a problem when i go. The only thing is its always so hot in there. Today the guy working in shoes seemed like he didnt want to be there. He could of had a better attitude because you act like you didn't want to help nobody really
I was at the shoe deptartment yesterday (5/22/2021) from around 1-2 pm. I'm leaving a good review specifically because the guy working behind the shoe counter was extremely professional and cool under pressure. It was clear that they were short staffed (I believe there were only 2 employees in the shoe dept.) and while I was there a line of customers, all needing shoes from the back, formed behind me. When it was my turn I wasn't pressured to hurry and make a decision and experienced nothing but great customer service. All while there was little to no AC on a 80+ degree day. Seriously, someone give this man a raise.
I waited for 15 minutes at the clinque counter. I ended up asking someone in jewelry to help me, she said she would send someone over. Soon after as she was heading toward me a man was walking through. She ended up immediately helping him instead of asking who was first. I left! I will be making my purchase and all others future purchases online. From macys! It won't take long for bad customer service to close this store!
