Bowman Chiropractic took me in as a new customer quickly (the day after I called). The Dr was very kind and listened and empathized with my pain. I’m so used to doctors dismissing my pain and telling me “ice it and call us in a week” as if I didn’t already do that before calling the doctor. The staff is courteous and overall the vibe is great. Would recommend for sure.

Downgraded from 5 stars to one for a billing issue. The billing issue was first brought to my attention in December 2022. I was told I owed $65 because I didn't pay my co-pays, which was confusing, because I have. What I heard from the front desk was my co-pay was $10 and not the $5 I had been paying. I asked others with the same insurance who went there what their co-pay was. It was $5. I called the insurance company. They told me the co-pay was $5. On June 7th, I finally got the whole picture.

On Tuesday, June 6th I went in for an adjustment. The front staff, who are lovely, mentioned I had a credit of $10. I said I thought I it was more (because of the $65 I paid them on Jan. 3,2023). She said there was nothing she could do. This has been an ongoing issue for 6 months and I said if I had to, I would take the owner to small claims court and have a third-party figure it out, because I couldn't. She called the owner and gave me the phone. The first thing he said to me was I shouldn't threaten his staff by saying I was going to take "her" to small claims court. I never said "her" as that would make no sense. After I hung up the phone, she heard part of the conversation and said she knew I didn't say "her. " He told me to meet him the next day at noon. I told him that wasn't convenient but could meet him at 3pm.

So, I went in to talk to the owner at 3. I had never had an adjustment done by him, so obviously we had never met. I was put into a room and waited for him. He came in with 10! Sheets of printouts detailing all my visits from my first visit in 2021 to the present. He insisted there were no mistakes, even though he would admit by his calculations he still owed me $10! Sounds like another mistake to me. I insisted it had to be more because my co-pay was $5.

He could have explained he made a mistake way back in 2021 and apologized for it. We both would have had a moment where we both understood where the confusion came from. Instead, he tossed the paperwork on the bed. As he was leaving the room, I told him I would be changing my previous 5-star review to reflect what just happened.

I was very angry when I left and called my insurance company again. They verified my co-pay was $5 and put me on hold to call the office and talk to the owner. They were able to get out of him that the dispute was from a billing error when I first began going there in 2021. It turns out my co-pay in 2021 was $10, but they were only charging me $5. On my first visit I gave them my insurance card like every office you go to. They told me the co-pay was $5! I had never been to a chiropractor before and had no idea it should have been $10. (At the time I was seeing Dr. Heather Heim and the relief was worth much more than what I paid. Due to a scheduling conflict, I later switched to her husband, Dr. Aaron Boedecker. Also, highly recommended!) At some point, my insurance co-pay did change to $5, which only helped to confuse the situation.

Long story short, they made billing mistakes in early 2021, and charged me for them two years later on January 3,2023. When they didn't fully explain the issue to me, I was still confused and felt cheated. After having my insurance company get involved, the owner admitted they still owe me $10! I am getting my refund and taking my business elsewhere. I wish he had taken 30 additional seconds to explain the initial problem.

They have many glowing 5-star reviews. Like many businesses they incentivize them by offering a free bottle of Biofreeze to anyone leaving a 5-star review. You might want to take that into consideration.

New part. You are correct, I don't understand it, but you should. Took you 2 years to find your mistake, and 6 more months for me to get the explanation from my insurance company that you couldn't provide.

Dr. Bowman was warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He made me feel safe; that he would be with me throughout the entire no-fault process.

I went for my first appointment with Dr. Heim and my back has never felt better. She also helped with my hip and neck. Being on a concrete floor all day was starting to take its toll so I decided to see a chiropractor. I'm so glad I chose Bowman Chiropractic. The last few months have been agony with my back, neck, and hip pain but I feel so much better since my appointment. They took the time to get to know what the problems I was having were and explained the entire process while they worked on me.

I have been coming to this office for about 2 weeks now and they are very professional and also down to earth. They make me feel at home which is really important to me. Bowman chiropractic has made me feel so much better each and every time I go there. I know a few people that have seen him and they really like him best chiropractor any of us have ever met.

I was nervous at first not thinking that I could receive the type of help that I need but as we are moving along with my progress I see that I am in the right hands. I was referred to Dr Hiem at Bowman Chiropractic was Delighted with the experience. She took the time to listen and assess the pain in my lower back and left shoulder. She explained the adjustment before proceeding and suggested exercises to strengthen supporting muscle groups. Very positive experience, along with Friendly staff. Dr Bowmen was able to accept my insurance and give me the best price possible

Highly recommend coming to see Dr. Heim. She takes the time to understand your concerns and helping to answer all questions. The facility is always clean and the staff is great.

This was the only chiropractor that had a decent charge. The receptionist is so nice friendly and helpful.
