Break'n Eggs Crêperie reviews
16This was my first visit but it won't be my last. The food and the service were top notch. I had the French Toast so next on my list will be one of the Benedicts.
Used to love coming to this place 4-5 years ago when I lived in the area. Recently I moved back to the area with my wife and suggested the creperie as a go to breakfast spot for us. When the mood struck for breakfast, I touted break n' eggs so off we went. Well the experience I was about to have would lead me to vow to never step foot in the again. Waitress takes our order hastily, so we wait.and wait. Eventually after 40 minutes I notice there's not even a single cook in the kitchen, everyone in the restaurant has their food that's seated and our waitress us chatting with a Co worker. Eventually she finally realized she never even put in the order! She comes back and says I put your order in and let the kitchen know to get it done right away. She then confirms the order with us and it's not even what we ordered. Finally gets the correct order in and comes out, it's missing peppers and onions in the home fries and missing a whole ingredient on my crepe. Brings out the missing stuff on plate well after receiving food as well! Charged us for them, but did extend 20% off while giving us contradicting excuses. That would have made me feel slightly better, however the food was disappointing. Dry and not flavorful like when I used to frequent this spot. Save the frustration and go to the pancake house right down the road. Only given 2 stars because if how much I used to love the place. Will never return. It's a shame when restaurants get too popular and lose its original charm.
The poached eggs and homeade corned beef hash was pretty good. (The corned beef were chunky pcs not the shredded stuff and wasn’t dry.)
Food is always great here, but you might have too wait too get in as it is a little cramped for larger groups.
Love this place, especially the food and fun wait staff, but it's a small dining room, so be prepared for a wait and close seating. Well worth the wait though!
Great place. There aren't many creperie's around, so it's nice having one in the area.
I hadn't been to this place in a couple years and while the food is above average the portion sizes have shrunk and the prices have climbed. I don't expect to spend $50 on a breakfast for two.
It was a good place to visit for breakfast, the waiting time was long for breakfast, we got the seats near the window which is a bit corner, the service was taking long
Food was great. The restaurant itself is on the smaller end. Be prepared to be seated close to other guests. Customer service could have been better. They forgot some items from our order which we had to ask for multiple times. But I understand that it was the Sunday before Memorial Day so they were pretty busy. Good food and a good brunch spot.
Absolutely delicious. This place is SO good. Service was great, portions are perfect. I Absolutely recommend a side of house potatoes with any dish.we had the sweet crepes and have been talking about them for days.
First time visiting Break'n Eggs Creperie in Buffalo, NY and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. The staff was responsive and friendly. Food was great and served quickly and hot. No complaints!
Amazing breakfast. Worth the wait. Place was clean. Staff were friendly and food came quickly. Had a party of 4 but tried 6 entrees as we couldn't decide between all options.
Delicious and delightful, small, specialty restaurant that makes your food fresh and pretty fast. Loved the gluten-free, buckwheat, crepe Suzette with the accompanying orange sauce and cream! Can’t wait to go back with the family and try more crepes.
I went for my birthday celebration, and was not disappointed. The food and staff wasA+. A picture is worth 1000 words.
Everything is very tasty, I was especially pleased with the cappuccino, since American coffee can hardly be called coffee.
The selection is fantastic. But the food itself was a little under par. Tasted like the crepe had been sitting, not freshly made. It must have been an off day as it's usually delicious!
