We di bot make a reservation (for dinner) since we made a call before going to see if they had availability to do a walk in, we went to the restaurant which by the way has the letter B.

I think the host was not very attentive, it's even more so when we asked for a table at the patio told us “that is for 4 people” in a not very friendly way, and rudely told us that there was a table inside, without explaining the reason, etc.the common table was really not that comfortable, very tight for dinner, the waitress came to us, explained the specialties, the food was ordered, a bottle of wine was ordered, the food was good, thanks to some people who were there next to our seats left and we were able to eat in peace, with some space it is really uncomfortable if you want to eat, they don’t care about if you are really comfortable to eat, doesn’t care they try to fit more people in that table
Food was great,

I’m in the industry for several years and the attitude it’s Terrible.

The restaurante design (5/5)
Food (5/5)
Service 0/5

Hope you can improve your customer service

Came here with two friends because one of them visited before and loved it.

There is an outside area, a bar area, and a dining area. The dining area is small and the bar area decor is casual. The ambiance really does make me think I’m in Italy. It’s cozy and I do feel that you can spend a lot of time here. I would keep in mind that the area by the bar is a bit narrow and the dining room is a bit small as well.

We had Alex as our server and he was very friendly. I had an Aperol spritz. It personally wasn’t my favorite. My appetizer was the lamb chops and my gosh. These lamb chops were amazing!

For our mains, we ordered the special lamb shank risotto, I ordered the Rigatoni e Gamberi, and Steak special. I wanted to order the Lamb, but since I’m not a mashed potato eater I couldn’t get it. The lamb was DELICIOUS! I also liked my friend's steak. When it came to my Rigatoni, it was a bit dry and lackluster. I was a bit sad.

We finished with the Tiramisu and it was delicious!

In all, I feel like Briciola excels with their meat-based meals. I would recommend this as a casual date whether it be with friends or a significant other.

I see so many good reviews on the pasta, so I wouldn’t mind trying it again.

We had an octopus salad and a lobster risotto that was perfect for the chef. Both incredible dishes. All this crowned by an exquisite crème brûlée. One star less for the atmosphere because it is very noisy, but no less friendly. Special thanks to its owner Mark and our waiter Fernando for making us have an excellent night. We will surely return before returning home.

Some of the best Italian food on the west side. The service was amazing. The food is perfection and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a little hole in the wall in Rome!

I think it's a sister restaurant to the restaurant across the street, but they have the same menu. This was a hygiene level B (the store across the street was A).
As of Sept2023

The menu items are reasonably priced for Manhattan.

The pasta was a little over al dente, but the octopus salad was delicious!

I would like the Restroom to be a little more clean, so I gave it a 4 star rating.

Briciola Restaurant is an absolute gem! My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. The charcuterie board they offer is a work of art - a delightful assortment of cheeses, cured meats, and perfectly paired accompaniments. Each bite was a flavor explosion!

But what truly sets Briciola apart is their top-notch staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and provided attentive service throughout the evening.

To top it off, the prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. Briciola has become my go-to spot for an exquisite dining experience that won’t break the bank. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended!

Wow! I wish I could give 10 stars! Dining at Briciola was a completely unexpected highlight of our trip to NYC last month. We spontaneously stopped in for a late night family dinner after a Broadway show and it was absolutely sensational, from start to finish. The server was exceptional - warm and so welcoming, and she gave us great tips on what to order which were spot on. The food was incredible and the intimate, relaxed environment in the communal seating area was perfect. This was easily one of our best dining experiences and we can’t wait to return. Thankyou!

We first tried out Briciola on accident.we thought we were walking into B Side Pizza! It ended up being a delicious mistake!

Briciola is an intimate Italian spot with a wide selection of wines and small bites. Certainly worth a try!

The Maccheroni al Tartufo will change your life.

Meal was overall pretty disappointing. Calamari was very clearly not fresh, and made that dish almost unpleasant to eat. Pasta and sauce weren't properly mixed, and the result was something more of a pasta soup than a cohesive dish. The shrimp in the pasta was okay. Service was fine. Don't think I'd come back given 2/2 dishes were lacking.
