Bricks & Hops, Bronx NY

Both times I have been the atmosphere and music as well as drinks were a 10. Now bad management can ruin a lot, especially new reoccurring regulars. There is a man who sometimes works bars but seems to be a pseudo manager, maybe a relative of the owner. He is rude and dismissive. Food outside of burgers and chicken wings are sub par and they place a strict 90 minute seating rule, even if you are still ordering. I literally left with my entire group and was treated way better at Made in Puerto Rico down the block.

Had the mac n cheese /bacon and buffalo sliders. Mac was pretty decent but nothing special at all, wouldn’t really order it again. Buffalo Sliders were meh. Got charged $7 for 2 glasses of cranberry juice, kinda wild for a fountain drink, especially since it’s served in a cocktail glass filled with ice. Overall not worth the price and the big turning point honestly was the automatic 18% gratuity on ALL bills (wish i noticed it on the table that’s on me) Auto gratuity on a party of one is nuts seems like the business is taxing customers heavy
to keep up with bills, clearly not in the chef department. Great serving staff tho, no shade to them.

Drinks, food, and music are always on point. The owner is such a great guy. Good crowd. Making this one of my go-to spots when I'm in the Bronx.

Very good, get the Cajun fries. We ordered a bunch of wings, and one of parts of the order was over cooked, and almost choked on a bone.

This restaurant is gorgeous, I follow the place on Instagram. I loveeeeee their giant uno cards I had so much fun playing uno w/ my nephew and his mommy. I enjoyed my food, my nephews food, and his mommy's food. The service was amazing I want to go back.

Great serviceee! Me and my sister visited this establishment on tuesday night and let me tell you, this is one of the best pubs i've been to in the Bruckner area, definitely a hidden gem.i've visited a few times before the pandemic but upon my return i found different staff.what made it even better was the EXCELLENT service our server Wally provided us with, we got there a little after 5 when it was just us and another table, however out of no where a group of about 30 people arrived after us to celebrate a birthday, plus also everyone inside, she handled it like a champ.was always attentive to me and other tables making sure we were taken care of.food & service 10/10
