Bridals by D was amazing! I went to a lot of bridal shops to find the perfect dress, and from the moment I entered, I felt like I was being heard! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but somehow, D knew exactly what I meant. I tried on several dresses, but the very first one was always THE dress. Throughout the whole experience, they made me feel like a princess, making sure everything fit perfectly. Last night, I received SO many compliments on my beautiful dress, and people were saying that “they felt like the dress was made for me! ” I would recommend Bridals by D to any bride looking for her perfect dress!

I went to every store in Buffalo but none had what I wanted. I went back to D after all others failed because she had told me some of her dresses could be customized. D is very friendly, supportive and a self-esteem boost. She said the designer could make all the alterations I wanted no problem. I based my whole dress around these delicate Pearl straps I wanted and a slit on one side. When the dress came back from the designer the straps and slit hadn’t been added and the Pearl bodice I also wanted was not added. She said it wasn’t a problem, they wanted to add the pearls in person so they knew how many I preferred which I was fine with. She claimed her seamstress could do everything I wanted. The bodice turned out great however, when I went to put my dress on the day of my wedding, both straps popped off and I ended up having to cut off what I based my entire dress on 30 minutes before I walked down the aisle. By the time I left the church, my slit had torn and tulle was poking out the entire reception. My sister had also gone to D for her wedding dress two years ago and similar issues occurred including having the dress cut her back pretty badly and the design not matching what was agreed upon. I didn’t think it’d happen again. Overall, had they told me I couldn’t get what I wanted I would have appreciated that way more then my dress not being what I expected on my big day.

Betty is amazing at D’s so if you do go I recommend getting her opinion as she’ll tell you what looks best and is plausible while D seems to just sell the dream.

I did have a great experience when I was at the shop but at the end of the day, my dress (& my sisters) missed the mark on the day it mattered unfortunately.
- Yes, the pearl bodice was lovely.
- I asked for the slit and you told me Casablanca would make the change. When they didn't, Bobby said he didn't want to do it because he didn't think it would look good in his opinion (I loved it before it ripped), not because it would cause an issue with the dress or not work.
- Yes, I wanted pearl delicate straps. You said you (your seamstress) could create these and you found and recommended the straps we ended up using. Had you thought that they wouldn't hold, then I would have preferred you saying so. I was happy when I left because the straps were attached and the slit was intact. The next time I tried it on (the morning of my wedding) this was no longer the case.

This shop is amazing! We went here and instantly fell in love with D. She can hear and see the vision of what you want on your wedding day and finds the perfect dress for YOU. She is so talented and made the whole process effortless. Her dresses are extremely elegant, one of a kind, and unique. She helped me find my perfect dress, and we loved it so much that we went back for my sister. My sister found her dress and it was PERFECT, and now my mom wants to get her MOB dresses from here too.

Denise was intuitive and quickly grasped the look I was aiming for. What I appreciated most was her honest feedback based on her styling experience. While every dress she chose for me made me feel beautiful, she offered valuable advice on which ones truly matched my vision or looked better, instead of generalizing how I looked in all the dresses.

I was so impressed with the store that I insisted my mom check out their MOB collection before making any purchases elsewhere. They were incredibly accommodating in scheduling a quick appointment for her. She visited today, filled with anticipation! Highly recommended!

Bridals by D is the only place close to Toronto that carries a large selection of dresses by Demetrios. It's the only reason I had gone there go get my dress initially, but then I met Betty. She was the most lovely person. She was sweet, kind, and let me try on all the dresses that she felt matched my style. Weeks later I had the pleasure of meeting D and Bobby. They were both spectacular and Bobby did exceptional alterations to my dress!

Best bridal gowns in town! Denise (the owner) is fantastic, knowledge and simply amazing to work with. My daughter, who is the bride, and I, the mother of the bride, are so excited to continue our journey with her.

I went shopping for a mother of the groom dress and went to Bridal by D because of recommendations from family and friends. I was not disappointed. After shopping at a few other stores before going to Bridal by D, I realized the difference in selection and quality. It was a wonderful experience. In fact, at my final fitting my girlfriend went to shop for her own mother of the bride dress. She was just as happy and found her dress that day. Happy shopping!
