Brighton Güllüoglu Baklava Cafe reviews
20Great variety of Turkish foods (baklava, poğaca, börek, desserts) for a decent price. Even a small coffee is only $1.25 - and good!
Highly recommended! Clean, tasty, tasty and again tasty, staff just super frindly. Thnaks. I will be back
Best Baklava EVER! I am from Minneapolis Minnesota and I made one more stop at the bakery/cafe this morning 2 get two boxes to bring back home. The lovely lady helping me wrapped it extra special to protect it on the plane. I went there three times when I visited in October and I was there 2 times over this past weekend while I was in New York and I know I will go again)
The coffee I ordered didn't look like coffee. Rather more like coloured water, thin and tasteless.
They offer a wide variety of different types of bahklava and other harder to find Turkish pastries and baked goods, all delicious and fresh. Their coffee is rich and smooth. And the service has been attentive, informative, patient and humorous every visit I've made there. Altogether a very pleasant experience. The staff - from the kitchen through the front counter - should be commended for their work and their attitude towards their customers.
Good location in the middle of Brighton Beach. We went for breakfast. Stuff were nice and fast service
Delicious baklava, good service. However pastries are very small which can result in a pricey experience.
I just bought some bakery stuff and it really was not fresh. Also service is slow, prices are high. But important part is staff was not helpful and friendly. There is no respect to customers. It’s unbelievable but they did not accept the credit card. I asked cashier lady why do you not accept the card she was keep going explain same thing again and again, finally she said we are not accept credit card under $10 transaction. I told her here is USA you supposed to accept card she looked at me and said I don’t care and said again you don’t have to buy it here. Can you imagine that no one staff has respect to customers and no one have vision. I really not recommend to any one guys. Don’t try and don’t be regret! Thank you
Selection of baklava has gotten bad, only few verities are available, sit down area is dark, service is slow, prices are high.
Unfortunately, i found hair in my food and instead of chicken thigh, as i requested, i got chicken breast.not happy.will i try again? I would but for the hair.
Great Desert Choices & Turkish Coffee & Tea Very Nice Looking Cafe & Very Sanitary Unisex Restroom. I Go Here At Least 2 Times A Week. Recommend It Highly
With their new location they provide a better seating area with more comfortable seats and tables. The staff is very friendly. Try their baklava.

Great Place To Stop For A Turkish Coffee, Tea, Dessert & The Staff Are Quite Accommodating As Well. I Go Here When Ever I Am In Brighton Beach.
20 mins waited and got nothing. Mornings are always busy can't you put an extra people there you cheap busters!
Terrible customer service. You have to make effort to get attention of the servers. I ordered an eclair and took a bite, it was spoiled.left a bad aftertaste - both desert and people that work there.
Nice place, but prices are strange. If you get coffee and want to stay your coffee cost more. I don't understand why can't you sit. If you want only to go coffee cost less. Don't get it why I can't sit with my coffee inside!
Very poor customer service. The waiters are mean, don't speak any language but Turkish and don't pay any attention to customers. Food is not good either.
Got aquinted with the brand in Istanbul, Turkey. By far, it is the best Turkish delight maker, with its famous crunchy and tasteful cevezli/festikli baklava. Thanks god they are in Brooklyn. If you wish to have a great comfort-food lunch, you chose the right place. Portions are generously big, prices are low. Good soups, gözleme filled with cummin spiced beef. A choice of a gourmand.
