Brightview Tarrytown - Senior Assisted Living & Memory Care

My wife has memory loss and was at Atria Riverdale before. Brightview is a very very good facility for her. It is very well run. The building is only 7 years old and there is nice outdoor space. The staff is happy and it comes through with extraordinary service. It is hard to take care of some of them but they show respect and help their dignity. I visit at least 2x per week she is always clean and well groomed. Also the food is pretty tasty. Kudos to BrightView Tarrytown! David

My husband is currently in wellspring village and I must say that the staff is amazing the girls are warm and loving. I have seen such a change in him since he’s been there. Choosing Brightview to care for him was a great choice I’m at ease knowing that my husband is in great hands. Timika and Mayraleen are wonderful they make sure all of our needs are meet on a daily basis. The Wellspring Village director Albina is very helpful and knowledgeable. I just want to thank the entire staff for all that they do!

Beautiful facility, consistently friendly staff and upbeat atmosphere, and wonderful community of residents with a variety of activities and things to do/learn each day.

This assisted living facility has very unprofessional staff at the front desk. I stopped to visit my aunt at the Tarrytown location and was treated very badly. Staff is extremely rude and lacks professonalism. Felt bad for my aunt who has to put up with these people every day of her life.

Staff members, nurses and management within the memory care unit ("Wellspring Village") of Brightview Tarrytown provide close attention to the residents as well as an upbeat atmosphere for them.

My mother-in-law lived independently and had an active life, until the pandemic hit. Life became lonely and isolating. While recovering from a fall, we recognized the need for this social senior to be around people in a setting where her personal and physical needs would be met with dignity. How lucky we were to find Brightview Tarrytown! Mom has been flourishing! She is so happy, and consequently, so are we! Her new home is so warm and inviting. She tells us how lovely everyone is and that the staff are very friendly, kind, responsive, helpful, and interested. We see that, ourselves, when we come to visit. And Mom has made so many friends! She is never in her room. It's hard to plan a time to visit her because she is so busy with activities. We tell her that this is the sleep-away camp she never had the opportunity to experience. This 97 year-old exercises and takes brisk daily walks to stay in shape. Mom is young and thriving! She is so relaxed and keeps reminding us that we found the perfect home for her. We couldn't be happier! We are very grateful to have peace of mind, knowing that Mom is in good hands.

My Nana moved to Brightview when she needed 24 hour care which was more than my family could provide. Being able to spend time with her without the added pressure of caregiver burnout and knowing that she was taken care of was more than my family could’ve imagined. The staff at Brightview always helped her keep her room beautiful and clean which was some thing that she took great pride in. The staff treats their residence as if they were their own family member an advocate for them whenever possible. My family was able to rest easy knowing that nana was

Great Staff, great care. Attentive, respectful and caring. My Mom has been at Brightview going on 2 years, in April. Although her health has significantly declined, I continue to be more than pleased with the care she receives. Especially during Covid, I'm able to sleep well at night knowing my Mom is safe and well taken care of. Brightview has the Residents best interest in mind always and has done so much to make life enjoyable for Residents and their families, during these difficult times.
Food, facility and activities are also 5 stars! Thank you Brightview family.

I have had my parents At Brightview since October 2 015. They were the first residents to move in. Since then, I have seen many different improvements. Staff has been wonderful. My parents and my family have been treated so well and will consider us part of their family. My mom had recently entered hospice and had it at Brightview. The care concern and love shown to my mom and dad warmed my heart. Always had my calls or emails answered and was quite appreciative of all the information I received. Mom passed away this week and the Care has now turned to my dad where they have checked him and loved him and took care of his needs for the past few days while he’s been grieving. All in all I feel I could not have done what I’ve done for my parents in the past few years without the care concern and love of people at Brightview. I truly appreciate and applaud staff and management. Love you all!

BRIGHTVIEW TARRYTOWN is a spectacular assisted living facility!
My wife and I have been involved with BRIGHTVIEW since September 2019 and have found the care provided to the residents is beyond reproach.
The past 11 months with COVID-19 have been extremely difficult for all, but BRIGHTVIEW has been amazing. The care and safety of residents and staff is nothing short of miraculous.
The staff is all about keeping everyone safe and healthy.and has been totally successful!

My mom has been at Brightview Tarrytown for the last 4 years or so. They are an incredibly caring bunch and it is wonderful to see the way they deeply attend to the needs of her and the other residents. The facility itself is bright, new, welcoming, and cheerful. They have also really risen to the COVID challenge, taking great steps to keep people as safe as possible in the face of what has seemed like overwhelming odds. I've been very pleased with their efforts to keep both residents and family members as informed and connected as possible. Recently we added a second family member to the Brightview ranks and he too is being treated with abundant care. My highest recommendation.

My mom has been a resident since 2017 and has received wonderful care from all the staff. They have gone above and beyond to keep mom happy and healthy especially during COVID when I could not be there. I cannot thank them enough! I’m glad my mom is at Brightview.

From the time my mother, Helene Stern, arrived at Brightview Tarrytown several years ago, I have been impressed with the warm atmosphere one encounters upon walking in the door. The staff's smiles, warm greetings, and welcoming decor all contribute to this aura. Although I can no longer walk through the front door (due to COVID), this same high level of caring is seen in the way the facility has handled the pandemic. My mother often praises the way staff has managed this extremely challenging situation. Brightview Tarrytown has strived to make the facility safe for its residents, while maximizing resident comfort given the necessary limitations.

Brightview Tarrytown is a wonderful facility. It is beautifully maintained and has a warm, welcoming and helpful staff. I am very grateful for all they do for my mother. I can sleep nights knowing she is very well taken care of.

Our mom has been in wellspring village at brightview for over two years. In that time she has been well taken care of. She has not been to the hospital once and that was not the case at the previous assisted living facility she stayed at. We are very happy with her care at BV!
