18Service was fast. Workers are very polite and listen attentively to your orders. Food was very well packed and tasted great.
Food was very bland. My girlfriend was born and raised in castle hill. We traveled from Yonkers here. It definitely wasn’t worth it. This is the worse Spanish food I’ve had in a long time. There’s no seasoning even to the rice and gandules They offered after taking my order and not having moro de habichuela negra. They had no avocado either. I ordered a Diet Coke and she comes back with regular coke. The waiter matched the food she brought us. Horrible experience. There are caution taped chairs throughout the establishment. We had to get up and get the check at the register after already packing our food to serve to our dogs. At this point it’s safe as it’s not as seasoned
The food is amazingly delicious. It hit every Dominican spot inside of me. The place is super clean and the staff is very nice. If you're in the Far Rockaway area and in the mood for some good Dominican food, this is the place to go. Even my mom loves it. We are Dominican and trust me my mom can cook. She compares every restaurant to her food and food from her friends and family that also cook. When it comes to Dominican food critic my mom should have a badge and she gave this place two thumbs so you know they must be good. I 100% recommend it. I had the Bistec Encebollado. Let me know what you and if it was all you expected
Hello owner of Brisas del caribe, My name is Mikey NY I am a long time customer I live just a block away on Gleason ave. I am writing to you to let you know that I will no longer be your customer due to the fact of these vaccine passports you are enforcing upon us in order to sit in and eat. May I remind you that our free will and freedom of choice comes from God almighty and our constitutional rights protects our God given rights. I understand you too have bills to pay but in order to protest our corrupt government I and millions of American citizens will fight back with our votes, with our wallets, and with where we choose to work and don’t work. Hopefully you with protest this corrupt government when you start feeling hurt in your wallet or when you start to reduce the number of employees you have.
Their food is ok but I ordered 45 mins in advance and when I get there to pick up my food they hadn't even looked at the order yet so I had to was 20 minutes for them to fulfill the order.
A coworker of mine recommended the shrimp Mofongo hear and I've been hooked ever since. The food is delicious, here I have Regular and Chicken Mofongo with steamed veggies and pulpo (octopus salad) delicious! My Family and I enjoy eating at this establishment and the ladies are delightful. Thank you much!
Although the prices have gone up, the portions are huge and the food is authentic and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I'm sorry to say but this place has fallen off the wagon. Just went there today to get a Rotisserie chicken combo and a Monfo with pollo al Horno to go and it was just horrible. The Rotisserie chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. The monfo was awful. It comes with a sauce on the side and that was even worse. I literally threw the food out into the trash. The chicken we tried fix a little bit with Adobo. The only thing that was actually okay were the beans. We should have made the long trip to 3 Way better on Webster Ave. I miss my latino food since moving out of the city and this was a really bad experience.
Omgg the food is delicious the amount is ridiculous I can't even finish it until the next day. The price are so economical can't go wrong, Once you have any dish you want some more. I this place and will definitely recommend
They seem a little disorganized when waiting to order even though they have numbers. I walked in and ordered a steak sandwich with fried sweet plantains. I was standing there for half an hour before I asked the clerk that took my order what happened, then she got my order about 5 minutes later. The food was good but they took way too long to get it together. Maybe I should call it in next time? I was number 89 and by the time they got to my order they were on 98 and a couple of people had came in after me and had left so that was very upsetting. I don't like the order set up at all. It looks disorderly and you don't know who ordered and who did not.
Food was good and fresh and they stay open a little later than their competitors which is a big plus.workers were efficient and friendly.
They are getting a bit overpriced. Food is good for the most part but not everything in the menu. The parking is almost always hard to find specially around lunch and dinner time.
I speak fluent soanish and my order has been wrong. More than 3 x. That i have been there. There is a spot in westchester square thats alot better.
LOVE Brisas! The food is delicious and fresh. The prices are more than reasonable considering what you get. The service is great and the wait is minimal. Definitely a great place to eat in the Castle Hill area!
Visited on Mother's Day, one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants. I tried to call to place an irder for pickup but phone was busy so I walked over. I expected to be waiting for a long time but they were very organized I was in and out within 15 minutes which is not bad for Mother's Day. The food has always been good and this was even better. They really are good at what they do.
One of the best Spanish restaurants to eat and order food out always by my Spanish food at this restaurant service is very good
After watching the news and seeing the restaurant owner pay for the Autistic adults check and having my own Autistic son. Sadly watching a small family excited having a celebration of sort be thrown out asked to leave because there son was having a moment yes he was loud but mom was trying. We supported her having gone through that exact thing with our now 19 year old son the poor boy could not have been more than 6 or 7 years old. I felt ashamed of the owner. I felt ashamed I did not leave with them. Thus restaurant is NOT AUTISTIC FRIENDLY! WILL NOT RETURN!
I ordered lobster tail, didn't like it. My family got there food and I waited long time for my food while everyone else was eating. All orders should come at same time.
