British Swim School of LA Fitness Howard Beach, Queens NY

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have had the most unhelpful customer service experiences here. I recently had a change in work schedule with my job. The swim school would not allow me to change the day I I was scheduled for to accommodate my job priorities. The swim school apparently only allows a 30 day in advance cancellation which does not accommodate the above aforementioned. Therefore I’m paying money for lessons that I will not be attending and cannot make up. The customer service representative was extremely rude to me on the phone. After explaining my situation- that I am currently undergoing a change in schedule with work, she told me that my classes would be out on hold. When I called back, I came to find out that there is no such thing as the classes being put on hold. This business is a HUGE SCAM and is only after your money. Customer service does not exist here and they do absolutely nothing to accommodate you. I am now paying for a month and a half of swimming lessons that I will not be attending. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Started here a few weeks ago as a adult learner. Could not be more satisfied with the results. The instructors are super helpful and patient. There are many obstacles adults face and they completely understand and work through those problems.

We’ve been coming here to swim classes for my, at the time 17 month old, since November, 2020. Owner is very hands on. Staff is friendly. My daughter loves it. They’re very understanding with rescheduling as well. Both locations we’ve taken class at has been clean and safe. I definitely recommend this swim school.

My Kids have been swimming with these guys for 1 year now.we absolutely enjoy it - the staff are great with the kids.

Worse gym ever. The staff at the front desk are very rude. When I call, someone always answers then they hang up. They have a person that is supposedly a life guard hustles people for their money saying he can get a life guard certificate and he'll put you to work. When you ask if I'm about the hours he'll say he needs more money. Mine you he's not even a hiring manager. He's just a 3rd party pool cleaner. I spoke with cooperate office and they don't seem concern about having illegal things going on in the gym. They quick to take your money but when you need help they have so many excuses. Don't recommend this company. Spend your money on a company that cares about you not your money
