Broadway Theatre reviews
10 . January'1984, I was doing a study visit and a brief internship at Columbia University, Human Rights Department.and have the chance to watch this marvelous musical. Anthony Quinn is greeting and given his thanks at the end of the show.
. Marvelous experience!
Bought 2 tickets, spent over $200. Got to theater and the seats were nearly touching the ceiling. The view was awful. We tried to upgrade and they were trying to charge a additional 200+ per ticket to move. So returning to original seat, the person who bought a seat next to ours was occupying more space then their own.
We attempted to complain. But customer service doesn't exist in this building.
We wound up leaving before the show started.
Would not recommend this venue. Seriously disappointed with the entire experience.
There's lots of places that do Broadway shows, go to any but this one.
Went watching Aladdin, an absolutely fantastic show, from start to finish. Was a bit of humour added in, very tastefully. For Adult's and children great performance. The New Amsterdam Theatre great experience.
First broadway show experience. Went in assuming it would be an hour long show give it take. Didn’t realize the Harry Potter show was 3.5 hours. Initially thought that would be such a drag but before you know it I was fully submersed in the show and thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely would recommend
I went to " Here Lies Love". Hands down the best Broadway Show I have ever seen.
Full disclosure, I have only seen 5 major Broadway shows. But, the way it's choreographed and has a huge audience participation makes it one of the most memorable shows of all time for me.
You have to check it out to be amazed by the outsized thinking put into this show.
Went to see "Here Lies Love", July 2023. Stage and how they built it for the show was phenomenal. Other than that idk, a standard theater. They had drinks qt the front, clean rest rooms and right on Broadway.
Superb atmosphere. Magical place, timeless and full of charm. Must do, this time I saw Chicago
"HERE LIES LOVE" was great. Theatre nicely remodeled. Air conditioner is great on a hot and humid day. If you get cold easily, wear some long sleeves or bring a wrap.
We went to see the Lion King. I went to a few musicals (3 or 4 in my life) but this one is without doubt the best I have gone. All was perfect, the voices, the scenography, the characters, the costumes. Really enjoy it and, the Theater is smaller than expected but sufficient!
Thanks for this brilliant experience.
Broadway Theater is right on Broadway accessible by E train to 7th Ave and 53rd Street. 1 short Block away. If driving by car you will need to use a paid parking lot within the area. No street parking is available. This is a spacious modern theatre. Went to see "Here lies love" based around Imelda Marcos. Every seat is great. Orchestra area is participating standing area only. You will interact directly with the actors and move throughout the show. There are stadium size monitors and stage set ups throughout the theatre. I loved the stage effects! I was completely content in the Mezzanine area. I sat in row N seat 102.
