One of the worst experiences of my life. 4th grade to 9th grade I experienced severe bullying from my peers. I was in constant emotional distress and was suicidal and depressed due to how awful everything was dealt with. My mother was ignored when trying to get me help from the principal, counselors, ect. I was left outside by a gym teacher, put in a room while having a panic attack no help was called I missed a whole school day, I'd force myself to puke to miss class (specifically gym), was left out of the chior picture in the year book, had my things thrown around classrooms by other students, and was emotionally abused by my "friends" The schools response to all of this was to put me in a special education classroom and say just be "nice and make up". I didn't need to be there my academics was not the issue and I never want to see half of that student body ever again. I am currently in a different building doing much better with much more support away from this place but I am only 17 years old and have so much trauma from this place, not to mention my older sister and mother went through similar things. The cherry on top is through all of this I was autistic I wasn't diagnosed until 9th grade but once I was it made me even angrier than I already was knowing that other kids like me might not be able to get help like I did. If you think you want to send your child here, don't. This school messes their kids up mentally it's scary.
