Bronx County Family Court

The secretary Ms Green is very rude and unprofessional and needs to be fired. She uses her means of her position to be rude and disrespectful to clients that call in. She hangs up the phone on clients and keeps hanging up and putting the clients on speaker so the other office workers can laugh and be more unprofessional. Something must be done. No wonder y'all need metal detectors to go in there. It's a disgrace.

The referee I had was extremely biased. The court appointed attorney’s committed perjury. The courts also did not enforce their own court orders, willfully neglected evidence and obstructed justice.

Can y’all please hire more people for the DIY forms processors! I been calling for the past two weeks and keep been told they are understaff, so my papers would be filed god knows when because they are very busy and there is only two people down there. My papers might not even be seen

This is the most unprofessional, unorganized bias place for a certain group of people. I came in for childsupport for my disabled son and judge “Harold Bahr” scolded me for taking my child to a better hospital in another borough because they had better services for his rare condition after mentioning how far I had to travel. I also asked if I could be reimbursed by my child’s father for half the things I had to buy my son and he stated no! After verbally beating me down about everything I did he then stated that my income was nothing. I showed him the utmost respect and tried to be as polite as possible and he still found ways to be blatantly disrespect and to belittle and digrade me. I pity a pompous wicked soul like him who has absolutely no compassion for others and use their power to target and verbally abuse people who just want better for their children he’s a true monster.

When you really need help.no one answers the phones. This place is dreadful to go to in person. Everyone is rude and could care less about your situation. This place is sad and shameful.

If you don’t have a lawyer, they try to bully you. Especially the male identified, biased magistrate. They expect you to be uneducated and unemployed if you are a black woman going against an under the books male. Lawyer up.

I see a lot of disgruntle fathers on here not taking responsibility for the roles they play in having children. I don't wish to come to family court but I'm forced to because of a true definition of a dead beat. The legal system is there to protect the children. If these men would step up and be apart of their children lives the justice system would run as it was intended.

I asked what does family court do for a man who wants to see his child and cares and as always no one can answer the question. You always get some female who has a nasty attitude answering you like you should already know the answer. Damn shame how good men are treated

I have one 4 year old boy who lives in the Bronx with his mom. I moved to NJ due to the negative energy and abuse the mother was verbally attacking me with and her family. So, I had no choice to take her to court and fight for my son and his needs. Can you believe they are making me pay over $300 a week just for my son and over $5000 in arrears. I have been giving over $600 a month for my son in money orders for almost 4 years and I have all my proof. They still raised their shoulders and said oh well rearrange my priorities. I pay $1600 in rent, also in other bills over $800.

Needs restructuring of their judicial system. Very unfair to the fathers that love and truly care for their child. Not geared toward helping, Black or Hispanic family's move toward a positive, or constructive solution. More so, helping the father's fall to empoverished failure for his children. Restructuring is a must!

This young lady keep delaying the D. A for my grandson help she does not want my son name on his birth certificate i raise that little boy then she put a order of protection out on me because she is mad with my son but my judge seen it was something wrong in what she done and said on that paper and thought it out not she went to do it again my judge was good she called me back in the court room and said let it go just flie to see your grandson you raise him for 5 years

This place is Hell! A haven for welfare mothers, and women with personal vendettas. The children are the last thing the court, can be concerned with. This is where bastards are massed produced.

ACS and all the other idiots are designed to break up happy homes by removing fathers out the picture for disciplining their children thats why alot of these kids soon to be adults have no respect for authority because the rod was not used on that butt. My boys wont have that problem Im not here to be their friend we got alot of time for that when they grow up.

Had such a rude judge. On the upside there was a really nice lawyer that went above and beyond to help me and my mothers issue.

This court is what make man do the things some do. If it was not because my daughter would have been the one to suffer, I would have dropped off the grid because of the Mother F-ing judge with a God complex.

Judge was very bias, showed proof of low income and judge made no changes to support told me to get a second job and handed me a sheet to search for jobs but did not request nothing from the defendant who isn't working and hasn't worked for 4yrs. The law states a percentage of my income, not a judges opinion on my life style! Everyone there is rude and no help.

Very rude court staff wish my case was not transfered here call to verify my court date was told I have to have a doc number called plenty of time before and never had to have this number with me willing to answer any questions to verify who I am I was hung up I will be writing to the head office definitely on the so called supervisor Sherri Orr you are very disrespectful and if you can't do your job without being rude do something else please

Terrible crazy there not many men that want to be father's and the ones that do they won't let them! The mother can do whatever criminal records all that but nope then judges give u three months for another court date I feel like giving up but I can't my boys
