Bronx Human Resources Administration reviews
12It's closed and sending people there for no reason when everything is supposed too be on pause until further notice
I've been there three times trying to get a shot deal, yesterday the worker told me that my case would be probably denied because I make enough money to pay the rent, if that's the case they were supposed to let me know since the first time I applied so I don't have to keep going or spend more money buying metro Cards. Also my worker is new and she barely knows how to use the computer, those old computers probably don't have internet access. Every time I go there I sit down just to see the worker doing some slow data entry (they get frustrated pretty easily) just save the info using the social security number and everything would be on file.
Why giving a number to call if a client has questions because is you call the don't answer and if you leave a message for them to call you back they don't call you back. That doesn't make sense. Why having a costumer service line? If they don't answer. They are not helping no one.
This is not a bad hra place compare to the other one in the Bronx but only one person from customer service I can not stand he never wants to help no body and when ask to speak to someone higher then him he says he is a manager and I’m not sure how he even got his position but he’s the worse one and he’s always on number 3 can’t never get anything fix with him went there to change my address 2 time with him and because he didn’t put it in the system my case was close and I have proof of changing it and went back to get it open he didn’t even want to listen of why I’m there first thing he said was my case is close go call for a hearing or reapply and I shouldn’t have to do none if I did what I had to do and it was his fault. Everything is fine
Can you say very unprofessional. I came to help support a friend and the lady at window one (Miss L) was very rude. She is the true definition of uneducated. She does not know how to talk to a human being, she loud and obnoxious. My friend had her child in her arms while handing over her paperwork and Miss L screams out “NO BABIES ON THE COUNTER. ” This lady repeated the statement above twice. My friend and myself told her “ the baby is in her arms”. Miss L is disgusting, she should be pushing around a cart full of bottles instead of working with the general public. Also, I forgot to mention she was screaming while sitting down instead of getting off her lazy behind to call the persons name. So all the screaming she just did made my friends son start to cry. Very rude and unprofessional. I bet she was once standing on the other side of the counter before the city gave her that job!
The worrrrst center ever, you go there by 9 AM and you have to wait all damm day. They don't have special waiting time for elder people they make them wait all day too. And theres no way to talk to a supervisor and the social workers are so Rudeeew you can't imagine. Need to change this center ASAP.
I absolutely hate coming over here. The wait is always at least a few hours long, no less. I shouldn’t have to wait HOURS especially if I had an appointment. Very unprofessional and unorganized.
If you visit this place just come and do what you gotta do and make sure you have everything you need if not? They'll make your life difficult here. Ignore the workers attitudes here and you'll be okay because even the security guards here have an attitude. I guess it's their hell and not ours. Make your life easier by being prepared because when you are? You'll leave very quickly from here. The most I spent in this place was 15 to 27 minutes at most. Your call. Also word of advice, bring headphones. You're going to need it because the amount of kids that scream in that damn place.
Sorry but yes it was a tad efficient, but hospitality no. The case worker I had was rascist, and the supervisor was a total hood rat.i don't expect the first time applying for assistance out of 10 years plus working without any form of p.a to be treated the way I was I left the office in tears and when I asked the supervisors head supervisor she refused to give me his name and her own. Discusted by the way people are treated in this site!
The service wasn't at all that bad. But the workers specially the receptionist in the front desk has an attitude
This is a bad place I went up to a worker and told her I was next and she said I have to wait on my case worker and told me to get the hell up out of her so rude and nasty way unprofessional. This pace need to get shutdown. What every y'all have going out home people should not bring there problems to work.
