Bronx Little Italy reviews
13I grew up a few blocks from here, went to MS 45. The food here is phenomenal. Nothing on Cross Bay Blvd (Howard Beach) compares to this! Coffee, lunch, dinner, dessert, freshly baked bread, fresh handmade noodles, you cannot go wrong at any of these shops here.
Such an awesome atmosphere, enjoyable environment, delicious food and great service! Highly recommended for a nice evening out! Best spot on Arthur Avenue!
Not for tourists - at least not the typical NYC tourists. This is for real New Yorkers and new residents who want to see what NYC is actually all about. The food at many of the restaurants is extremely good and the Retail Market is an experience you need to have while there, along with a visit to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Restaurants you should try: Tra Di Noi, Gerbasi, Roberto's - in that order.
Keep it Italian in the the Bronx
Great selection and a fair price
I don’t make ravioli at home any longer I buy them at borgati’s fresh daily and the taste is terrific
I serve them several times a year
They freeze and cook up very well
We walked around after Christmas and stopped in at the little shops selling cookies and other specialties- so fun and full of Holiday Spirit!
So nice to know that if I'm in the mood for some really good Italian food & pastries, that I'm just a stone throw away from it. A really nice and quaint neighborhood with nice mom & pop shops as well.
It's not really little Italy, it's more like little Mexico now. Disappointed by everything here. The pastries they have you can get anywhere. Nothing like Italy actually. Maybe to Italian Americans, but I wasn't impressed. I did go on Sunday though so maybe I missed all the good stuff, won't find out because I'm not returning.
The name of the store is called Full Moon Pizzeria. And I'm out doing Uber eats and got hungry and looked for a 24hr store. This store came up as a store open 24hrs. WRONG! SO NOW MY HOPES WAS UP FOR PIZZA 4AM AND ITS CLOSED! UNBELIEVABLE!
Now - while it is a bit quiet - take an afternoon to just wander this little neighborhood of Italian delights. No rush. No pressure. Just walk up and down, stick your head in. Grab a coffee or a slice (or more!) and go to one of the little parks.
We need neighborhoods to survive - this one is worthy! ~
Very cute little neighborhood, amazing foods of all sorts. Outdoor dining during COVID is actually beautiful, great experience, I come frequently.
I came here expecting to see a little version of the country "Italy. "
But instead i was greeted with fresh food, great options and friendly staff.
Love this place.
Bronx Little Italy is a Great Place for Lunch and Dinner. They have all kinds of Restaurants, Albanian, Mexican, Italian, Nice coffee shop, and a Great Italian Marketa. Come Stop and See it.
Fabulous food. Some place are cash only so check before you dine. If you hit Enzo's, get fried meatballs! Wow! Don't forget your Mr. Frosty icecream!
