Bronx Zoo reviews
17My recent visit to the Bronx Zoo was nothing short of amazing! The variety of animals, well-designed exhibits, and friendly staff made it a memorable experience. A must-visit for nature lovers and families – the Bronx Zoo truly delivers a wild and wonderful adventure!
Great zoo with tons of exhibits. It never gets boring. I got a membership and it was 100% worth it. The employees are always friendly and helpful as well.
Great experience. I went in November, and due to weather conditions, we couldn't see the elephants, giraffes, and a few other animals. But all the rest was 100% worth it.
Nice big place with variety of animals and birds in the habitat. Neat and clean environment.
We went there on Jan 2nd (a very cold day). We took a private car with a guide tour, and it was worth it since the zoo is huge and it was freezing that day! We will have to try to go back when the weather is warmer! ;)
One of the best if not the best zoos in the U. S. We visited New York and were surprised and amazed at the cleanliness, creative setting and how well kept the animals were. The landscape views were stunning. The animals were wonderful to see and with so many varieties. I highly recommend anyone to spend a day at this American icon and get in early and stay late!
Hard to express how much we love the place. The variety, quality, and care are impressive. We learn something every time, and our kids love it so much. Jungle World is probably our favorite, but there is really so much to see!
Toso was under maintenance. And the truth was that the zoo lacked repair and cleanliness. Everything looked neglected and very poorly maintained and messy.
It's not worth going in winter. We were visiting on Friday, January 5,2024. There was no one in the zoo and several closed exhibits such as Gorilla, Elephant, Lion were not closed but they were inside. They don't have many interaction programs included in admission like the Tampa Zoo for example.
Half of the Zoo was closed and nobody advised us. Shame.
Of course, they charged regular price.
Been for the typical zoo trip, as well as the holiday lights. Large zoo with plenty to see. Membership makes is a good value if you go a few times a year.
Always a great place to visit. Beautiful setting, so much to see. Today (1/21/24) was frigid, but there are plenty of indoor exhibits to enjoy, and the indoor cafe to thaw out in.
I am against zoos so I think the animals are in prison I left with my children to see what it was like but we didn't stay long after seeing some animals in their cages
Always clean, always organized and always a great experience. It's impressive to think such a wonderful zoo is in the middle of a big city. Highly recommend.
Friday night lights at the zoo is where it’s at, grab a beer and a just ok churro and be amazed
What a wonderful zoo! I haven’t been here in decades and they’ve added a ton of new habitats. It took us almost 6 hours and we still didn’t get to every display!
We ate at one of the zoo eateries and it was pretty typical zoo food, a frozen burger and fries. Nothing to write home about but not bad.
I found the chimp and gorilla cages the most fascinating. They were playing and running from the silver backs. We loved every second of our visit.
