Brooklyn Botanic Garden reviews
13Wonderful light show with music to match. Even the cold night didn't matter. Hot chocolate with Bailys warmed me.
Lightscape is a Beulah if somewhat eery. Complete wheelchair accessible and a very friendly staff.
This is a wonderful garden in Brooklyn. It is in walking distance between Brooklyn Museum and Prospect park, and the subway is nearby. And yesterday night was the most gorgeous night ever before from Lightscape. Hope it can keep up.
Membership is worth it. The gardens are so beautiful. We take our daughter regularly and it is such a lovely place to go for the afternoon or meet up with friends. A much calmer spot than Prospect Park. There’s also indoor space to take a break from the heat in the summer, nice clean bathrooms and a little cafe (their food isn’t great but a bottle of water and some chips is all we normally need). We’re so grateful to have a special place in our neighborhood!
What a place. Great all year round, went after Thanksgiving this time because we had family visiting from out of town. The conservatory was great, loved the bonsai exhibition the most. Simply fascinating!
I really wanted to enjoy myself here but there aren’t any activities to do. Maybe there'll be luck once the weather warms up a little more.
Can’t get enough of this beautiful place. So beautiful during spring, summer and fall seasons (never been during winter time). So much to see, walking is so easy and the verity of trees is absolutely gorgeous. They also have Japanese gardens which is a must. Prices are convenient, always something is happening in the garden.
Big fan of the BBG for years! It's worth a visit in almost any season but this was our first winter trip thanks to #lightscape. Thought it was a little pricey but the show was fantastic and well worth seeing for both children and adults. All the exhibitions were interesting and impressive and the food/drink options were plentiful. I def give it a.
Springtime is obv a good time to visit but the BBG is a great experience any time of the year.
I always love walking through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. And this new holiday Lightscape display makes me love it even more! Such beautiful, artistic, and sophisticated light installations with a lovely combination of holiday music. Highly recommend!
Lovely Christmas experience at the Botanic Gardens. Lights and sounds on a chilly night lent well to making this a truly magical visit. And the hot chocolate was simply divine.
Beautiful, not crowded, hot drinks with liquor and wine an snacks. Smores wt a charcoal pit on sight
What a beautiful evening at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the LightScape Display. It was so beautifully set up… each path we took was more beautiful than the next. We stopped and had some delicious cocoa and a bite to eat as well. The food was delicious and the staff, friendly and courteous. I can’t believe this was my first time coming to the light display. It’s a must see! My friends and family are all putting it on their holiday calendars. What a wonderful evening!
Bbg is an oasis of tranquility and peace in the bustle of Brooklyn. I have annual membership and visit at least once a week. Beautiful all year round.
